Try to always be prepared with 3-5 questions to ask. Many may be answered in the interview but you should end up with a couple. Critical question to ask is why did the person leave the position? You may find out it is the fourth person to leave the job in two years or that the person left due to relocation of the family. Each answer leaves a very different impression of the position and company.
