She was rude and looked down upon me even though iwas obviously smarter and more prepared than she thought i was. Her questions were simple: what's your favorite adds? Why DraftFCB? Why the school you go to? etc... Since I attend an IV, her questions were as though I was pretentious and couldn't answer the simple questions she told me about like Tell me about a time when...

Interviewed Jul 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 days)
It was a great experience. I spoke directly to my would-be director and didn't have to go through 5 or 6 other people. I had multiple phone snafu's (dead battery dropped call) and he was patient and attentive throughout. Great experience - would have loved to work for that guy.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
First, I was contacted on the phone by a member of the HR department. After asking me about my experience, they scheduled me to come in for an interview the next week.
On the interview, I met with 4 members of the analytics team.
The next week, I met with one of the VP's.
The next day they made me an offer and I accepted.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 9 months)
I was hired by their on-campus recruiting, which began in September, were flown to the office in January, and not given official letters with offers until June. I started almost a year after my first interview, and this was their standard process.
The on-site interview was 7 half-hour interviews with mid to upper management. They have questions with standard themes like "tell me a time when you were challenged..". The standard stuff. It's exhausting, if nothing else.
After the unofficial offer, they were holding out on giving official offers because the CFO wouldn't approve the budget, but they "promised" there should be jobs. It's a mess in HR... at best.

Interviewed May 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 1 week)
DraftFCB talked about their agency pretty honestly -- it is a huge place, and they are trying to change things. At the same time, they made it sound like juniors have a lot of responsibility, but they don't.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
The agency is just way too big, and I don't like Chicago weather.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

It's a very organized process. Meeting invitations are sent out to confirm interview dates/times and names/titles of who you are meeting with.
I had previously had a phone screening with HR, so I came on-site to meet members of the team. One was with a Management Supervisor, then my next interview was with the VP Account Director and another MS. Interviews went into depth about past experiences to gauge if you would be a right fit for the open position.
Office space was definitely overcrowded, you had multiple people in offices. The space is your typical agency environment, but nothing special or cool about it.
The people are definitely very friendly and nice.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
They offered the same title and pay as what I was currently making. Not typical of an agency to do that from my past experiences.

I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in New York, NY (took 3 weeks)
I was all set to be set up by the recruiter to interview for this position but at the last minute it was cancelled. A week or two later, they wanted to see me again. My recruiter arranged for me to call the Draftfcb HR person at lunchtime but she called me at my office, at the wrong time. I work in an open office space. I reminded her that I was supposed to call her at lunchtime. When I called at lunch time, she never answered. I left a message and never heard back from her.
I was told they were no longer interested.
That was weird.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in New York, NY (took 6+ weeks)
I was impressed by FCB's office, but soon the experience left a bad taste in my mouth after 4 interviews and no final response after 3 follow-up phone calls. They completely blew me off and I lost interest in working for them.
