I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 days - interviewed at Drivestream in January 2009.
Interview Details – There were two levelsof interviews:
1. Done by the company recruiter (pre-screening)
2. Done by a company subject matter expert.
Typical interview questions, about my background, how long I have been doing this work, challanes, dealing with difficult peoples.
Also questions about customer service.
Very general product knowledge,not in details
Negotiation Details – Was able to negotiate higher pay than they offered,but not what I was looking for.
They seem to know what the market offers, and they are balanced with the market.
Also, if they call you urgently, chances are they are starting new projects, and are trying to fill those projects. In that case, you can negotiate higher pay. You can also demand higher pay if your skills are unique and harder to fill, for example Benefits Administration knowledge or time/labour knowledge.
