Biotech Affairs and Regulatory Science Interview at DuPont Pioneer

No Offer – Interviewed in Jan 2012 – Reviewed Jan 13, 2012

Interview Details – This was for a Biotech Regulatory Affairs internship position.

It was 4 back-to-back, half hour long interviews over the phone. They asked primarily behavioral questions such as "describe a dispute you have had with another individual" and "describe a situation where you bent the rules to accomplish something and failed". However, they would sometimes ask the same exact question on different interviews or some slightly modified version.

Overall, the interview was a bit exhausting (2 hours, 4 people, repeat questions) but the people conducting the interviews were very friendly and professional. Although I didn't get the offer, I received a call back from the manager who thanked me for my time and gave me a bit of feedback (with some well-placed questions of course!) as to why they hired the candidate they did.

Judging the friendliness of the staff, I get the impression that these people are happy where they work and I will apply for future positions with Pioneer Hi-Bred.
