Interviewed Jan 2010 in Alpharetta, GA (took 5 days)
The interview process was not that involved, it was more focused on Project Managerment skills and required very little understanding of Equity Compensation. The Manager was more interested in your knowledge of the PMBOK processess. It would be helpful for a candidate to present work completed during other assiginments to validate documentation skill sets. I would suggest you practice your communciation and presentation skills, and make absoulte certain to dress really well. There is a great deal of emphasis placed on your attire and personal appearance. The interview is very welcoming; however make certain to ask about overtime requirements and traveling expectations. The employee will be will be responsible for faciliating meetings, creating formal project plans according to the PMBOK.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Menlo Park, CA (took 5 days)
I had initial phone screening interview and then called for face to face. There were 3 rounds of interview. In the first round, interviewer asked about my experience and high level architecture of the project I worked. Then the 2nd interviewer asked some Perl question. In the 3rd round, they asked about DB design and C++ OOD questions.
The first 2 rounds were easy going and interviewer were friendly. Not much happy with the front desk (receptionist ) persons behaviour. She was busy with her own world (talking in cellphone) rather giving attention to the visitors.

The hiring and interview process was very professional on behalf of E Trade Financial. I was very impressed with the knowledge and information delivered during the interview. It was a laid back fact collecting interview that i found very helpful in deciding if I was interested in future employment at E trade.

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Alpharetta, GA (took 2 months)
First I had an on-campus interview with one rep from E-Trade. A few weeks later I was invited to an interview day where several candidates for multiple positions all interviewed with a rotating panel of interviewers from different sectors of the company. They wanted at least 3 separate 1-to-1 interviews that day to get a general feel for each of us from different perspectives. About 3 weeks later I get a call with the job offer. The people who interviewed with me and the HR personnel I was in contact with were all very nice, and willing to discuss the position(s) they had as well as they're personal take on the company. The culture seemed friendly despite the no-windows "fort" appearance of the data center itself. The interviews were not structured and it gave me a chance to talk about whatever skills and experience I have to bring to the job in a friendly conversation environment. Overall a very nice interview process.
