I applied through college or university - interviewed at E. & J. Gallo in February 2013.
Interview Details – Met recruiters at Career Fair, & was invited for an interview which went very well. Both recruiters were personable & it was a simple meeting where they asked about my resume, described the job, etc. I was then asked to come for a second interview and it was borderline unprofessional and left me feeling very discouraged about the job. This was a complete shock as all of my encounters with this company and its employees have been nothing but positive. Most of the questions were not related to the job or the company but rather my change in major from healthcare to business. Additionally, I was hurried out the door to due lack of time and was unable to ask the recruiter any questions.
Interview Question – What other companies are you currently interviewing with and why are those companies not related to this industry? Answer Question
Very Easy Interview

Interview Question – Talk about my resume? Answer Question
The process took a day - interviewed at E. & J. Gallo in March 2012.
Interview Details – I spoke with a representative at a career fair and connected extremely well with them. She was very eager to give me an interview and said that my experience was great for the company. When came time to for the interview, the person who interviewed me had obviously not looked at my resume. She did not even know who I was. Rather than answering questions about my job experience and qualifications for the job I was asked to go through my resume. When I tried to expand on my job experience and what those jobs had done to prepare me for a job at E & J Gallo the interviewer asked me to do that later, after explaining what I did in my resume. Basic questions were then asked, like "what was a hard decision you had to make", "why are you a leader", and why a sales positions. I answered each question thoroughly, without much feedback or interaction from the interviewer. Advice to E & J Gallo is to hire someone TRAINED to do interviews and to be sure all interviewers have at least read the resume of the people they are interviewing prior to meeting with them.
