Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 3 days)
Sent resume on line, 2 phone interviews with a non-medical company recruiter, 2 online tests completed, onsite inperson interview with additional basic computor test, typing test and verbal sample case scenarios.
Advice:
1) get in writing the number of days/months/hours of training, orientation, and/or probationary period.
2) get in writing if you will be assigned a one on one preceptor or multiple trainers.
3) get in writing the exact expectation of the job versus a general or broad job description.
4) ask to meet with the director of the department, so as to get an idea of who you will be working under.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
There was no negotiations available with the salary or hours.
Advice: get the hours in writing, as they changed with each verbal conversation, and when I informed the Director of the department of this, I was told "he certinely did not tell you that", even though multiple other people were told different things from each perspective recruiter during their interviews. This should be illegal, but again needs to be in writing to prove.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Skills Test and a Background Check.
