Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
Interview went by very quick. I had to take a quick grammar skills test before the interview. We basically just went through my whole resume and I was asked to explain what I did for each internship I had. They said they would notify me in 4-5 weeks after they made their decision.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Seattle, WA (took 3 weeks)
It started with a 30 minute phone interview with a recruiter from San Francisco. From there, it took 2 weeks to set up an in-house interview at the Seattle office. The interview in seattle took 3 hours and started with a group interview from 3 members of the tech/digital teams. From there I went to another room and interview with two more assistant account executives with the tech team. After the round of interviews, I took a 30 minute spelling/grammar/writing test on a computer and left. It took two weeks to hear back from them that I was not selected. It was a very tough interview and I thought it went rather well. I was told a couple weeks after that they had found someone with more experience.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Brussels (Belgium) (took 1+ week)
I really got a lot of useful information from glassdoor when I was preparing for the phone interview with Edelmen Brussels. I applied the internship position spontaneously and got the reply from a HR very quickly. The we scheduled an interview about one week later after I sent my CV.
The Questions he asked is really in the range of the what I had already prepared, like why do you choose Edelman, and what was your previous working experience, how do you use social media etc. I really prepared it a lot by reading through all their websites and tried to show it to the interviewer. So I would say preparing for the basic questions above in your own version will be very important.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
I received a phone call from the HR director in Chicago. I had prepared very well, and was prepared with info about Edelman's projects, departments, and internal mantra of "public engagement." I think she was very impressed with how much I knew about the company. She didn't ask too many difficult questions, but was mostly testing my communications skills.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 3 weeks)
I submitted my resume on the website and within a day I received word back from HR. 2 weeks later I went in for an in person interview with her where she explained my resume would be sent off to the team hiring that would be a match for my skill set. Then within a week i got a call back to interview with a team. Another week and a half I met with the team and followed up a week later. I'm still waiting for them to notify me of their decision.

Interviewed Aug 2010 (took 2 days)
During my interview process, I had to go through two interviews to get the actual internship. I spoke with the HR director first and then proceeded to the group interview. The group interview consisted of two people asking questions that related to my resume and life. Once that was over, I recieved a call saying that I had recieved an offer to work at Edelman.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Bellevue, WA (took a day)
HR will first contact you through e-mail or phone, and ask if you're available for a quick 5-10 minute screening. They ask you very general questions...nothing out of the ordinary such as "why do you want to work in PR," why do you want to work at Edelman, what do you hope to get out of this internship, ask questions about your previous experience, what you have learned from your past internships, why you should be picked, etc. Like all interviews, they want you to sell yourself. If they like you, they will have you interview with an account executive there and they ask almost identical questions. They might have you send some writing samples afterward so be prepared to have a pen ready to write down an email to send those. Besides that, the questions are super straight forward.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 2+ weeks)
My interview at Edelman consisted of a phone screening followed by one on one meetings with HR. Lastly, I met with the team who needed an intern. They did not ask anything out of the ordinary and it seemed mainly a way to get to know me. The environment felt relaxed so I was able to show them who I am as a person as opposed to someone expressed on a paper.
