Interviewed Nov 2011 in Indianapolis, IN (took 4+ weeks)
It was all very simple started with the application then the Personality test. After that it went on to the phone interview. If you made it through that then it was a Panel Interview.

Interviewed Mar 2012 (took 1+ week)
These interviews with Eli Lilly took place on my college's campus. I signed up for the first round interview with Eli Lilly through my on-campus career center. The first round consisted of two Lilly employees from the region near my university. They each had a computer in front of them. One of them read off basic interview questions consisting of my greatest accomplishment during my college career, why I wanted to work for Lilly, and what difficult decision I had to make during my college career. The other interviewer typed up notes on my responses and asked questions whenever she wanted clarification. This round was laid back and they were friendly and welcoming to my comments and answers.
They told me I would receive a call either later that day or the following day about whether or not I had made it to the next round of interviews. They also told me the next round would take place the following week. I did not hear back until about five days later when a campus recruiter who worked in the career center emailed me to schedule my second round interview some time that week.
The second round interview was obviously more difficult and not quite as laid back, however, the Lilly employees were still friendly. The lady in the career center told me that usually there were three interviewers during the second round, but this time around there were only two and she did not know the reasoning for that. At the beginning of the interview the two employees explained to me that they would have to come to a consensus over me as to whether or not I would move on to the next step in the hiring process. Throughout this interview, the employees again asked me basic interview questions, but they also pulled out specific items or sections from my resume and recommendation letter and questioned me on them. One of the interviewers even somewhat undermined my reasoning for wanting to work for Lilly and my degree choice. They also focused a lot on relocation and did not agree with my choice to want to stay in the region near my home. These interviewers really took all of my responses to their questions and turned them around to ask more in-depth questions. It was definitely more nerve-racking than the previous interview and was a little uncomfortable at times, but I understand that it was designed this way to test my ability to handle difficult and somewhat uncomfortable situations.
In the end they complimented my qualifications and interview ability and said that I would hear from them later that day in regards to whether or not I would be receiving a job offer. I did not hear from them until the next morning when I received a call. The gentlemen explained to me that he had enjoyed talking to me and felt that I was an extremely qualified candidate, but they, unfortunately, could not come to a consensus over me and were unable to offer me a position at this time. I was disappointed to hear this but cannot say enough about the quality of the interview process and how much respect I have for the company as a whole for calling me to let me know I would not be receiving an offer.
Overall, it was a well-structured interview process and an amazing opportunity where I received great take-away interview experience that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my job search.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Champaign, IL (took 4 months)
Applied online at the end of November 2011, Initial phone interview with Recruiter in early December, 1st Face to Face interview with 2 different panels in early January, 2nd interview with hiring manager in mid-January.
Then they decided to do another round of interviews.
I was finally told at the end of February I wasn't selected for the position. The position was also reposted online again shortly after.
When I asked the hiring manager for feedback as to why I hadn't gotten the offer, he said he would call me and then never did.
Overall not a good experience with one of the largest Pharma companies in the world.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 5 days)
Got an interview on campus through the business school. First interview was very generic, around 30 mins with current senior rep. Very easy, wanted to see what knowledge I had on the company already and ask general resume questions.
Second interview was the following week with a group of 3 senior reps/area managers of some sort. Lasted a little over an hour, all behavioral and "what would do you if" questions. Two of the guys were friendly and welcoming, third guy played bad cop and criticized responses and frequently demanded different ones. Also criticized my personality some, which was hard at times.
Good interview experience, good way to see if candidates can stand their ground around doctors in the real position. Showed me I wasn't cut out for that type of work.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Tuscaloosa, AL (took 5+ weeks)
The interviewing process with Lilly was very intense. I received an email to schedule a phone interview. This interview was with a recruiter from a 3rd party who knew very little about the company. I asked questions that the interviewer was not prepared to answer; however, the interview (on my behalf) went well, and I was contacted, once again via email, to schedule a face to face interview. I interviewed with two managers on November 30th, 2011 and was told that I would hear back either way in 7 to 10 days. Well after the alleged 7-10days, the HR called me and scheduled a breakfast with me at a local panera bread for late December. We met, chatted, just casual conversation. I was asked a few more questions about how I felt about the position, was it still a good fit for me, and etc. I was told that I would hear information at the beginning of the New Year...the deadline was pushed back to late Feb so I am STILL waiting. BUT...I guess good things come to those who wait.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 4 weeks)
The phone interview was very impersonal and quick. The face to face was with two gentlemen who were only concerned with my college transcripts, and I graduated college in 2007. I feel that they could have put more emphasis on my previous work experience. Not a great experience overall.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 months)
The on line personality test was the first part. Next a phone interview with a third party. Then a panel interview with three district managers. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Their questions were reasonable and I felt very at ease. The overall positive culture of the company was evident during the interview process.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 2+ weeks)
I applied via the company's website and was contacted by an internal recruiter. I passed the personality and skills assessment and was invited to a group/panel interview in Dallas, TX. The company booked my flight and gave me a per diem for my travel day. The experience was enriching and even though an offer was extended, I valued the process.
