Elkem Holding Engineering Material Research, Development and Product Support Interview

I was introduced to the supervisor of the company division with a position to fill by a colleague working as a consultant, this served as an intial short interview to determine mutual interest. From that I was asked for a skype interview with the supervisor and HR person. After that I was invited to interview in person in Norway. They paid all expenses, the interview with the same two lasted less than 2 hours which included a powerpoint presentation of the company interests and structure. Questions to me were relevant and nothing unexpected, challenging only that some question ask you to reveal less positive ascpects of your character, I generaly am fine with these and find people value authenticity. Ultimately I was offered the position but the salary was not sufficient to make up for the lifestyle downers of living in a small, dark, cold town.
