It was quite simple. I was contacted by the HR of Emerson through a recruiter. They invited me for an interview with the concerned Manager and HR. Mostly questions were based on my past work profile and growth related questions.

Started with a phone interview discussing experience and how it fits position. In person interview came about a week later. It consisted of four one-on-one interviews. Each of those had a few "think of a time when (blank) happened..." along with questions about resume.

I had a phone interview which last for 30 - 45 minutes. The guy explained about the position, asked a couple of questions from my resume and then asked me whether I had any questions for him. I'm from Dallas and the job was at MN. He sent an email the next day saying they don't fly out out-of-state people for a second interview.

Interview took from 9am-2pm. Scheduled to meet with about 5 people. The tour included, "here is the printer, so we can print things." I was often left sitting in a room waiting for the next interviewer. Very rude.
No challenging questions were asked, more so only discussing of my resume.

Interview was set up at a Career Fair, gentleman I talked to led me to believe that the interview would be with the Emerson parent company. Interviewed with a different gentleman working for Fisher explicitly (control valves). Interview started off well, I had experience with the line of TI micro controllers he used (MSP valueline).
Interviewer was dressed in casual attire, Polo and slacks. Prompted me for questions about the company multiple times. Took approx. 30 min. Not a lot of technical questions. More interested in previous project experiences than technical knowledge.
I inquired about opportunities outside of Fisher, and he seemed to become upset. He told me he was recruiting for Fisher only.

Didn't get an offer from the area I was applying for.
