I applied through an employee referral and interviewed at Empact-Suicide Prevention Center.

Interview Details – Very long interview and training process that demonstrates how thorough and committed the organization is to its employees and clients. Prior to hiring, potential employees receive hours of online and in-person training regarding domestic violence and other information related to job tasks. The highlight of the experience is that they have hands-on staffing sessions so everyone knows what is going on in the office and people learn from one another.

Interview Question – The interviewer asks for feedback on how the interview would handle a real life scenarios. One of the scenarios had to do with counseling a family where a child was present that you suspected may have been abused.   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – Another opportunity that worked out better for my schedule. I liked Empact though.
