Interviewed Oct 2011 in Indianapolis, IN (took 2 days)
There was a pre-night event for the interviews and the guy there was laid back and seemed really happy to be there. However, the girl I interviewed with was kind of grumpy and not as into it the next morning. She acted as if the interview was the last thing she wanted to be doing. It gave a pretty negative perception of the company.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter a few days later. We spoke on the phone for 20 mins or so with basic questions about my background. I went in for a 1:1 interview a few days later and was asked more about my background as well as behavioral based questions. After the interview I was told that I would be emailed in the next week whether or not they wanted to bring me in for another interview. Two weeks later I received an email that they were pursuing other candidates.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Portsmouth, OH (took 2 days)
The interview started out with meeting all the current employees. I thought that was nice, because I had a chance to find out how they got the job and ask them questions. Everyone in the office seemed very nice, but a tad bit stressed, and always on their toes. So when the interview started, I sat down with two managers in a room without air conditioning (ridiculously hot), and asked me basic questions like where do you see yourself in five years. Overall they seemed uninterested in what I had to say. They kept saying they wanted someone with sales experience, even though online it said no experience necessary and my marketing degree was not enough for them. I knew I wasn't going to get the job before I left.
My advice to anyone doing the interview, bring your job description with your, prepare with general questions online, bring questions, and stay confident.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland (United Kingdom) (took 3 months)
Efficient interview process. Colleagues informative and helpful but not the most enthused. Final interview stage mixed graduate and interns together which was strange considering roles ought to be different. Work culture is very much everybody is for themselves, especially if you see yourself progressing to a senior position.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Old Bridge, NJ (took 3 weeks)
I had initially been contacted by a recruiter who found my resume posted on Monster. After being contacted I followed the steps to apply and was contacted by another corporate recruiter, shortly after, for a phone interview. The phone interview was brief – she asked me basic questions about myself and resume; for example, why Enterprise, tell me about a time you exemplified strong time management skills, how do you define leadership, ect. I was offered to come in for another interview with the same recruiter later that week.
This interview was basically an extension of the first one, similar behavior type questions – how do you deal with disgruntled customers, tell me a time when you assumed a leadership role and other questions such as what motivates you, where do you see yourself in five years, ect. I was offered an interview with the branch and area mangers for the next week.
The next interview was with both the branch manager and area manager. For this interview I was asked to come a half hour early to do an observation of the branch before speaking with the managers – during this time I spoke to the assistant manager and newly appointed manager’s assistant and had them explain daily branch operations. The interview portion lasted about an hour and the area manager asked most of the questions but the branch manager did ask some. Again I was asked behavioral situation questions – tell me about a time when you turned a negative situation into a positive, how do you go about meeting sales goals. They also asked – why Enterprise, what motivates you, how I used my sales techniques to reach sale goals, how do I handle constructive criticism. I was told they would call me if I was selected for a final interview.
I was called about a week later to schedule an interview with the regional VP. At this point I made a decision to interview in another Enterprise area and the recruiter was more than happy to refer me to another recruiter in the area of my choice – I am waiting to schedule my new interview with area manager here and if offered I will accept the position.

The interviews wet pretty well. They are really truly focused on people with sales experience and customer service experience. I have never really worked in either of those fields so aim surprised that i have made it to the third interview. Have not heard back from them but i hope all goes well. So far the interviews have been really relaxed

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
After I have applied online, I got an e-mail saying they want to do a phon screen first. When he called, he asked basic questions: Do you have driving license, do you want to work long hours.. and so on.. Then 3 or 4 main questions like: Why did you decide to apply to Enterprise? Do you have any customer relations experience? Why did you decide to study what you study at the moment? (Business Enterprise) It lasted no more than 10mins and I was invited to go for the next 1 to 1 interview.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Enfield, CT (took 5 days)
So I applied online for the Management in Training Program. After 3 days I got an email that they want to schedule a phone interview, I replied with 3 possible days and hours, got an email back agreeing on one of those days and hour. I did my research on this website to see what they might ask me. Compared to other people, she asked me all the questions you would get on a one-on-one interview. First she did not have my resume in front of her, because she asked me if I have a bachelors degree. Duh, I would have not applied if I did not have one - I did not say that to her obvious.
The she started with what you like about your job, what you dislike about your job, have you been in a leader position, have you been in a position to give bad news to someone, have you ever went above and beyond for a customer. And for all of these questions and a few other to give examples.
Since I don't have that much work experience, and I was working at the time of the interview as a volunteer, I guess they did not like that. So I got an email 3 days after the interview that they rejected me. But it did not bother me cause in the mean time I found a job.
The lady I talked to was in a hurry, and did not seem that interested listening to me. She talked really fast and it gave me the impression that she wants to get over the interview as fast as she can.
I really don't understand what they want from someone that graduated and has limited work experience and a couple of positions as a leader. The hole interview seemed pretty superficial. Maybe, they should list in their job posting that they want experienced people, that will be willing to work for pennies. And those interested in something entry level position, not to waste their time.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
Got a call from a recruiter and set up an interview with the area manager and recruiter. Enterprise has a good reputation as a compan but I knew it wasnt for me when I pulled up to the office which was part of a gas station. They try and sell the company and asked about sales experience. They explained the low salary and that you have to work 49 hours a week. It didnt seem like much of a training program, they just want you to hassle the customers and sell upgrades, insurance, and other available options. Its a job though.
