Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
Applied for position online. Contacted by recruiter to schedule a 1:1 interview at local corporate office. Went over application to ensure everything was correct, and then I was called into the office to interview. Asked basic questions about why Enterprise, strengths, weaknesses. I was also asked a lot of situational based questions. Describe a time when. Make sure you bring lots of questions, because that will be the majority of the interview.

Interviewed Mar 2012 (took 2 weeks)
First contact was a day or two after applying online. HR recruiter called to set up a brief phone interview. After that, recruiter set up a day for me to come in and meet with her at a corporate office (not a branch) for a follow up. She asked very basic questions and the only one that made me think for a moment or two was, "what is your greatest accomplishment other than your college degree." Interview lasted about 20 minutes.
After that meeting, she scheduled me for a third interview with the Area Manager. This interview was at a branch.
HR recruiter advised me to show up a half hour early to the third interview so I could observe the branch or, if they were slow, ask the employees questions. Many other reviewers have mentioned similar experiences and so I suspect this is standard procedure. They want you to ask questions, talk to the staff, etc. It's a little uncomfortable because you know they are judging your behavior and the dialogue feels so forced on both ends.
The Area Manager brought in the Branch Manager to the interview as well but the Area Manager asked all the questions. This was a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. A lot of repeat questions in terms of customer service, how to deal with bad days, what are your goals and how does Enterprise fit in, etc? Again, nothing that will leave you stumped. This interview lasted about an hour (which sounds VERY long but the time flew by).
At the end of the interview the last question he asked me was whether I had interviewed with or received job offers from other companies. I answered yes and he asked where Enterprise ranked among them, trying to gauge my interest. I mentioned the training and future growth potential Enterprise offers as attractive qualities but declined to rank them. He was not satisfied with that and asked again. I politely declined again. After leaving the interview and recapping on the drive home I knew I should have just told him Enterprise was on the top of my list, regardless of whether it was true or not...but it was too late.
Received an e-mail about 3 business days later from the HR recruiter I first met with letting me know they were not moving me on. I suspect the Area Manager chose to not to move me forward as a result of my reluctance to rank my interest in Enterprise against other opportunities. Oh well, I learned from the experience.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Tulsa, OK (took 2 days)
1st interview was held at campus, then got offer for 2nd interview with an observation of the operations at branch site, typical operation of the business but the area manager ask a lots of questions in interview process, although the assistance manager of that branch did the observational process part of the interview. Very laid back and nice people, fast paced work place, but I didn't charm the area manger enough to go for Final interview process with area VP region. If you like sales and wash cars in suits then its a place for you.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Saint Louis, MO (took 2 weeks)
Applied online, within 2 days a recruiter contacted me to schedule a phone interview. This interview only lasted about 10 minutes. I was then contacted again within 2 days to schedule a one on one interview. This interview lasted about 45 minutes. The recruiter was very energetic and acted like he was interested in talking with me. The company culture is very conservative. Everyone that I came in contact with was dressed in suits.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Jacksonville, FL (took 3 weeks)
After going through a phone screening confirming information on your resume (school, previous employment, etc), you will be scheduled for the first interview. The first interview is with a recruiter. Then you'll visit a branch for an hour to see what its like. The second interview is generally with a branch's assistant manager and an area manager. The last interview is with a branch manager and the group rental manager. All three interviews were pretty similar with lots of situational questions such as when was a situation you dealt with XY and Z, how did you handle it?

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Bloomington, IN (took 4+ weeks)
After I was referred to the management in the area I was applying for, they called me a few days after I applied and set up a phone interview the next day. The lady asked me basic questions such as what would I do if I had to handle a difficult customer? The next interview was an hour away in Indianapolis with a recruiter who says she only sends through about 1 in 7 people. She asked me more behavioral questions like the phone interview but it was more in depth. Once I got sent on the the Area Manager, I got to see the branch in Bloomington and what they did. He asked me some of the same questions but was more specific about his questions. He said he sends on about half the people that make it to him. Once I got put through to the 4th and final interview (which was in Indy again), it was with the Group Rental Area Manager. This guy was cool like all of them were but he was tough. He asked questions that you couldnt prepare for. He still asked some behavioral questions but he would also ask something like, rank the importance of these four things from significance to insignificance: Money, Recognition, Opportunity, and Work/Life Balance. That kinda threw me off. He offers the position to less than half of the people that make it to the final interview but I believe he would have offered the position to me on the spot but I told him I was applying with other companies so he told me to call him and let him know when I figured things out and we would go from there (definitely a test). I took the weekend to think about it and then called him back that Monday expressing how much I wanted the position and how I would be a great fit for his team. He gave the position after that.

They have a competitive program which allows amazing growth and opportunity based of performance so the starting rate isnt very high but you can move up really quickly. Starting pay is 11.76 hr but you work overtime and the estimate they gave me was about 32000 yr (only while in training which could only last 6 months if you're good enough.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 weeks)
Heard about this position at a local branch. Applied online. Was contacted via email by a recruiter for a phone interview. The phone interview was easy, went over my resume, she described the job and hours, and then asked some easy questions. Next she scheduled an interview in the regional office 2 weeks later. Went in, watched a video describing the work environment, then went into the same woman's office. She asked more run of the mill interview questions, nothing too specific, all either situational or incorporating my past work experience. I thought the interview went really well and she gave me a positive vibe. She said she would contact me within a week but I didn't get a response until a month later, when I got an automated email from a no-reply address saying they had moved on to other candidates.
