Interviewed Jan 2011 in Madison, WI (took 3 weeks)
EPIC found me, and they were quick about setting up a phone interview, setting up an on campus interview, and offering me the job. I went in not particularly interested, but after visiting the site, it was very difficult for me to turn down the job. The atmosphere is awesome, and people were very friendly. I could see myself working there. I recommend visiting if you're invited.
Also, take the campus tours if you have time. It's like las vegas.

Reason for Declining

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 4 weeks)
My interview experience so far has been nearly identical to those listed on this site, except that I was initially contacted by the company's HR department and asked by them to apply for the Technical Services position. (I also applied for SQA and Technical Writing as I'm very interested in these areas.) This may be because I'm 15+ years out of college, not a new grad, but I can't be sure.
I took the online personality test (Rembrandt), had the phone interview (lasted about 45 minutes) and just completed the skills test. My experience so far has been quite positive: the phone interview person seemed genuinely interested in my background (which has veered away from technology in the last 10 years), and the HR folks have been responsive and supportive. I don't know if I scored well enough on the skills assessment to continue the interview, but overall I've been pleased with the process.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Madison, WI (took a day)
Intervew schedules included a tour, HR interview, Technical interview (case study), tour, lunch, group presentations, and a group interview. The skills test consisted of math (patterns and sequences, brain teasers) verbal (sentence corrections, analogies), and a programming aptitude section.
The work environment is interesting with plenty of creative architectures. The average age of employees is 26, hinting at a high turnover rate.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Madison, WI (took a day)
For the final interview, they flew me up to Madison and were very nice to us. They really want you to get a good look at the campus and talk to as many different people as you can in half a day.
I had relaxed conversations (possible interviews) with 2 members of technical services, a case simulation, and a regular HR-type interview. Everyone was really nice. I even forgot to bring some parts of my application and they said to just send it in later.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 4+ weeks)
I applied online to Epic, and they asked me for a phone interview. Before my interview, they had me complete a Rembrandt personality profile. The phone interview was a basic screening conversation with one of their employees, who was nice and friendly.
I was invited to the campus and put up in a hotel the night before. Epic pays for all travel costs for the interview - even the gratuity on meals is included. You can expect not to spend a single penny. The campus is awesome - it was designed by the architects that designed Microsoft's campus and Disney World. It's in the middle of a working farm, it's got tons of natural light, each employee has their own office, and the cafeteria is awesome - for e.g. they have a dedicated pastry chef who's sole job is just to make pastries for Epic employees. Madison is a fun city to live in as well.
The interview is quite a full day, consisting half of tours of the campus and the product, of half of 1:1 interviews. I didn't have to make a presentation but I hear that many other people did.
Overall, it feels like half the interview is designed to sell Epic - and by the reactions of the other interviewees, it works. Expect strong competition, though - there were 25 other candidates on the day I interviewed, many of them from Ivy League universities.
I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I've read the reviews and the jobs can be tough, so be sure you know what you're getting into. However, many large hospitals are installing Epic, and even with the 1-year non-compete, I believe Epic will be a good investment in my future - especially considering that Epic offers employment without much experience at all. (It seems difficult to find a decent paying job without relevant job experience.) If offered, I will def. take the job.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Madison, WI (took 2 days)
The process consisted of a phone interview followed by a on-site interview. The phone interviewer asked basic behavior questions such as what did you like best about your last job/internship. The on-site interview consisted of a software demo, tour of the campus, skills assessment tests - one asked 10 simple questions that you were supposed to solve in 2 minutes, one had two sections sat/gre style math and verbal. If you interview for the EDI-Interface Analyst position they may have you write code. You will meet a person who works in the position you're applying for and they will give you a run down of the job profile and tell you what they like most about it, you'll have the chance to ask questions here. Finally, you will have a 1-1 with someone who works in the position that you're applying for. For the TS position, they ask situational questions. They present a situation to you: 3 customers each of them contact you with a problem...Then they ask several questions to see how you would deal with each of the customers.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Madison, WI (took 5 days)
The company contacted me after I had posted my resume on Monster.com - they seem to be really looking to expand right now.
My phone interview was great; I spent an hour on the phone with someone who actually works in the position I was interviewing for, instead of having an HR person ask you personality questions. It was more of an informational interview to give me a better idea of the company.
They flew me out to Madison within the next two weeks and put me in a fancy hotel. They took me to dinner the night I arrived, and the interviews started the next day. The campus is an awesome place, and the benefits are amazing. The job seemed pretty cool too - the thing that drew me was that it wasn't the same exact work every day.
The interview day consisted of a one-on-one information session about the position, a demonstration of their software, an interview with a manager in technical services in which they asked for a response to a case question, a typical HR interview (why do you want to work here, etc.), and some skills tests (software, math, verbal).
Interview Questions
The question goes on to describe the three situations.
Reason for Declining
The salary offered was lower than what I was looking for, but I may have high expectations.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Madison, WI (took 2 weeks)
My resume was found by an Epic Systems recruiter online. I was sent an email to apply for the Technical Services position. I submitted an application & after a few days, I was requested to complete an online personality test. After about a week & half I was scheduled for a Phone Interview. So far it went well, I was told the recruiter should reach out to me in about a week or two. If they decide to move on my application, the next step will be to schedule a skills assesment.
