Interviewed May 2011 in Dallas, TX (took 4 weeks)
First few rounds were phone interviews - first with a HR rep, followed by 4 different calls with Director/VP level execs. After a very long wait, nearly 3 weeks, I got a call to come down to their office in Dallas, TX to interview. Had three rounds of interviews, followed by a dinner session. Was a while before I heard back from them, but decided to turn them down simply because they were extremely unresponsive and I did not see myself fitting there.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Richardson, TX (took a day)
I received a call regarding my availability and whether I qualify for the position. An on-site interview was scheduled with the team Manager. The Manager asked the level of expertise in some technical skills (had also mentioned them in resume). The interview was more behavioral than technical. Interview depends on Manager and team requirements entirely. Interns generally go through behavioral questions. Although, there have been exceptions (entirely technical).
Negotiation Details
No negotiation for interns. Make sure to review the position description. A lot of time interns have to work in the area of lesser interest. The company provides opportunity to intern for more than one semesters, probably convert into full-time later. Be very active technically and overall.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Plano, TX (took 2 days)
First day I received call from recruiter to make sure I understood job description and agreed with it - questions involving travel, salary, whether I met all qualifications. Recruiter then contacted me with time for phone interview with Manager. Manager interview consisted of questions that challenged what was listed on my resume - design, operating system, applications. Recruiter then contacted me with date/time for onsite interview. Second day I went on site and had interview with a senior engineer, director, and HR representative. Questions ranged from technical (same as manager above), managerial, and personality questions (what would I do if this happened, why did I choose to apply for a job there, etc.). Then I was told more about the position, the vision of the project and company, and what I would expect if I were hired. Then a reconfirmation of my salary requirements, any restrictions, and start date if I were to be made an offer.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Plano, TX (took 2+ weeks)
Once I was contacted by the recruiter for the staffing company, things went very quickly, the interview over the phone with them went fine and I got a good feeling. I was set up for an interview/presentation with Ericsson's training department mgr. The manager and two instructors that were in town were my audience for the presentation. Very low key interview by all. I left with a good sense that I would be hired. The next few days were a little hectic for them and they didn't get back to me or the staffing company due to a death of one of their employees in the group. Once we understood the problem was not one of dragging their feet. I was willing to wait. They got back to me, offered me the position and I had to go through the usual pre-employment stuff. I was offered a 1 year contract , which, as of yesterday , expired and was not extended due to hiring college grads to take over technical training.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Richardson, TX (took 5 days)
After a HR phone interview I had an interview with the hiring manager. He then request a F2F meeting with his staff. At the meeting I was to do a presentation describing my value to their organization and do a SWOT analysis. After a delightful phone conversation/interview I was looking forward to the F2F. As I waiting for the hiring manager to greet me I noticed him peering down from several floors above. I felt from the get go I was being judged on something about my looks or appearance. From the start it was like I was dealing with a very different person. No warmth or openness. It was a very tough interview as if I was drowning in water under ice and couldn't break threw the ice to surface. As I got further and further away and processed the interview I knew the group was not for me. I like an open, warm, teamwork environment. This group seemed cold and judgemental. I'd be a afraid to sneeze wrong!

Interviewed May 2011 in Plano, TX (took 3 weeks)
Ericsson is a great company to work for. I had multiple phone interviews since they wanted to find the right fit for you. After that I was called for an onsite interview where I was again interviewed by 4 different people including the HR. All the interviews were behavioral interviews and some included technical questions.
The people are really nice and will make you comfortable. However, the HR are a bit unorganized and communicated details at the last moment or don't communicate details at all.
