Interviewed Feb 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 2 months)
The questions she ask me had to do with, what were my experience like in teaming, name one of the most stressful times in your life and how you managed it. What is one of your weaknesses and how do you manage it, or try and make it better. This is one of the first interviews from a college recruiter, once we were done, we went on to go over past experience in jobs and educational background.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 weeks)
I submitted my resume on-line for the position and I received a call from the HR recruiter the following day. We had a 45 minute conversation regarding the position and it was very pleasant. About a week later I was asked to come in and discuss the position with the person who would be my direct manager, the Associate Director, Business Development. We spoke for about 30 minutes, discussed my resume and the details of the position.
After another week, I received an appointment to speak with the Business Development Leader. He delved deeper into my resume and asked me specific questions about my experience. While I had tons of sales experience, and experience working in a Corporate environment, his concern was that I did not have any Professional Services experience, and had never interacted with partners. He told me that the next steps were to speak with peers, and then after that the Managing Partner.
I waited a week, then contacted the person who scheduled the interviews. She indicated that she'd check back with the Business Development Leader and get back to me. Crickets.
I then called the HR recruiter who informed me that they were moving forward with another candidate.
I'm disappointed, specifically that I had to chase them down to find out that they decided not to hire me.
Ernst & Young seems to be a very conservative firm, dress code was business, and folks there seemed to be rather austere and buttoned down. None of this was a surprise, but I thought that being in the South that it might have been a bit more relaxed. Heels and hose ladies. I saw college recruits wearing panty hose. I wonder where they bought them. I had to fish a pair out ot the console in my car, I couldn't find them in stores any more.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Atlanta, GA (took a day)
Original communications were thru a recruiter. Then contacted directly by E&Y personnel to schedule an interview. The interview consisted of about 4 different 1 on 1 meetings with employees at varying levels (a 2nd yr consultant, a manager, senior manager, and dept director). Most of the interview were very informal, and seemed to depend on the personality of the person doing the interview. During the final interview with the Director, he informed me that I had the job before I left.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Atlanta, GA (took 4+ weeks)
I first applied for a director position and was turned down for that role immediately, without interviewing. The next day, I got an e-mail saying I was selected for another role to interview for. I set up a phone screen. 2 weeks later, I was asked to do a phone screen with the HRVP. Then I had one more "telepresence" interview, and was offered the position.

The negotiation phase was simple - I just recommend to always ask a lot of questions if it is not spelled out. Especially ask about vacation, holidays, expected work hours,

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Atlanta, GA (took 2 days)
E&Y did on campus interviews at my school. They had a dinner and presentation the night before formal interviews on campus. The formal interview consisted of behavioral type questions with a manager. I was interviewing for an intern position in their Risk Advisory services. In the end I was told I did not receive an offer because my background is in finance and leadership had decided they only wanted to hire accounting majors. Overall it was a good interviewing experience.
