Interviewed Apr 2011 in Waterloo, ON (Canada) (took 2 weeks)
The interview was with a senior manager at EY, whom I’d gotten to know quite well through all the on campus recruiting events. This interview was at their office and it was about a half hour in length. The interview was your standard behavioural interview (tell about a time when you have an uncooperative group member, etc.) and was focused entirely on group work. There was also a question on time management. Marks never came up. The first question was “tell me about yourself”. I didn’t get an offer, but I think it was because I didn’t perform well in the interview.

Interviewed Aug 2010 (took a day)
Basically, all the questions asked by the interviewer are behavior questions. For example, tell me about your self, the team experience, work experience and what's your long term goal, short term goal. It is alright. The reason that I fail the interview is probably due to the fact that I am not outgoing

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
One on one interview with partner on campus, very laid back. Got the call for a second round interview less than a week later. Appreciated how quickly they got back to me.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Boston, MA (took 4+ weeks)
First event was a pre-interview social night at the EY office. Next day I had my first interview, one-on-one on campus with a partner. The partner practically told me I would be getting a second round interview at the end, but I didn't officially hear until a few days later. In a few weeks, I went back to the office for the second round. There were a bunch of other candidates there and we each had two interviews. Both mine were with managers. We went out to lunch with other candidates and EY auditors early in their career. There was also a "team-building" or "ice-breaking" exercise at the beginning of the day. I heard back after they had completed their second round of interviews.
Negotiation Details
No negotiation, everyone gets the same salary.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took a day)
Had to submit an online application where no CVs were accepted, had to answer 9 questions. Got rung up the Monday morning after the closing date (which was a Friday) to attend an assessment centre. Prior to assessment centre, had to do psychometric testing. At assessment centre, had an interview with a partner and manager, group discussion and drinks afterwards. We were also given feedback on the psychometric testing that was done online earlier which I found really useful.
