Interviewed Dec 2011 (took a day)
- group interview consisting of five candidates
- two interviewers
- asked questions based on what we wrote on resume
- a very interactive interview where interviewers attempted to know candidates better and also initiated to see what is our understanding of the company and the job. Cleared our doubts to the best they can.
- interviewers are friendly and open

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 3 days)
I got my first interview on campus, after that I was called for a second round interview at their office. The second interview included a pre-interview dinner (complete with E&Y managers, recent hires, and many other hopefuls), writing sample, two morning interviews followed by a lunch and a last third interview.
They were all really nice, I was bombed when I did not get it because it really seemed like a good place to work.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I was contacted by a recruiter who asked me some basic questions such as what type of career I was interested in (nothing intimidating). When I mentioned that I was interested in audit he said he would like to bring me in for an interview. The total phone interview was maybe 15min long. The in office interviews consisted of meeting with 2 managers and a partner. One manager actually interviewed me and asked me questions, the other manager basically tried to sell the firm to me. The partner tried to sell the firm as well. The toughest question I got was regarding why I wanted to leave my current position and why I hadn't started in audit in the first place (I was an experienced hire). My interview experience might be a little different because the firm is really in need of staff at the moment and are looking to hire 2,000 people nationwide. It was a very "painless" interview process. The time it took from when I first spoke to EY and when I had an offer in hand was about 1.5 weeks (although they told me about 3 days after the interview that they would be extending an offer). After the offer was made they ran a background check on me and I started working there about a month later.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 2 days)
The interview process was great. Everyone was extremely friendly from the partners down to the staff. The office really does have a tight knit feel and that was a huge attraction for me.

Negotiation Details
For interns, they pay salary, so negotiations aren't really needed unless you feel like you could get a substantial amount more at another office

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 5 weeks)
On campus interview with E&Y representative via On Campus Recruiting (OCR) partnership. Several weeks later I received email with superday information. Format was two behavioral interviews and one case interview. Offer given 2-3 days later.
Overall, the people were very warm and welcoming - I think it would be easy to get along with everyone there and seems like they are putting some resources into the BAP program to make it supportive for interns. Since some people spend most of their time on-site, not all offices were spectacular. One looked like a closet.

First on-campus interview. I applied through campus career website. It takes about half an hour. Staffs were really friendly. No technical questions during the interview but behavioral questions as just casual conversation.
