First interview was done 'on-campus' where I was interviewed by the recruiter and an Audit manager. Both interviews focused HEAVILY on behavioural questions. Unlike many other interviews, the interviewers seemed genuinely interested in my responses.

After the 1st round, I was called by for a office interview. There, I interviewed with an Audit manager and a partner. Both asked general questions but focused on the reasons why they love E&Y.

My advice is to think about good response to behavioural questions, be confident, and show that your excited about the position.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Philadelphia, PA (took 3 weeks)

Initially applied over the internet while reaching out to key staff within the practice group from other US offices. HR staff was very friendly and the screening process was largely based on a resume review. HR screening was followed by a call with two partners. Again, both were very friendly and prepared. (Make sure that you know your story!) The phone call was followed by a face-to-face visit and interviews/meetings with Sr. Managers, Executive Directors and Partners.

Advice includes: strong preparation on the experience interview. No case study or subjective questions such as "tell me a time when"...

Many people spoke of strong support form the group leaders.

Interview was very casual. Interviewer talked about themselves for a little, then had me talk about myself. Asked about past job experiences after that, which transitioned into behavioral questions. Interview concluded with about six or seven more behavioral questions. Very laid back overall, interviewer helped me out, and related to my stories with their personal stories as well.
