Interviewed Apr 2010 in New York, NY (took 3 days)
Beautiful offices - courteous employees every step of the way.
Well organized company.
Honest interview process - job represented pretty thoroughly.
Senior mgmt are permitted to behave as divas however, so there's a capricious element.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
Agency negotiated on my behalf.
Advice - always ask for what you want - you may get it. I think this follows everywhere. Anytime I have accepted at job at a salary that is less than I wanted it has colored my experience. Don't undersell yourself, especially if you have experience. If you are new & less experienced, know the range of salaries when you go in to ensure you aren't taken advantage of.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Staffing Agency and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
With 7 years luxury brand experience (Coach, RL Purple Label, etc) and an ivy league education, I was one of the final three candidates for this position. Unfortunately, the manager for whom I'd be working began the interview admitting a hangover from the Christmas party, the night before! Then, she winged a few open-ended questions at me, like "Tell me about yourself." I did my best to respond with aplomb, relevant projects, education, similar brand pricing strategies. This may sound like a loser's lament, but I wasn't impressed and wasn't too disappointed not to hear back. Albeit, she was a long-term contract project manager. Was also scheduled to meet with the GLobal head of finance for one of the major brands, before that interview, but the head was off--site and asked to reschedule. I never heard back about following up. I realize they were also looking of rmore of a computer analyst, than a finance/strategy analyst, the interviewer let me know this in the interview.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Oakland, NJ (took 2+ weeks)
I got a phone call from a woman in the HR department on a Friday. She was very nice and told me she was interested in meeting with me. She asked me a few basic interview questions over the phone and she was VERY nice. She asked me to come in for a 1:1 interview that following Monday, and I agreed. When I got there I filled out a basic job application in the reception area (receptionist was extremely warm and friendly). After that I met with the woman from HR and she asked me some very easy interview questions and asked about my experience in cosmetics and retail. After that, I went into the company store and had an interview with the Manager. She was great; she assured me she is very easy to work with and I definitely believed her. She was also very friendly and warm. She asked me mostly the same questions I was asked in the HR interview. A week later I got a phone call from the Manager asking me to come in to fill out a little bit of paperwork (it took a week to call me back because it was over the Thanksgiving weekend). I went in, and she offered me the position contingent on my background check results. On Wednesday I got a call notifying me that my background check came back and I was officially hired. I started working the very next day.

I was asked what I would like to make per hour and I said 10 dollars (I am a student working part time). The manager then told me the starting pay was 11 dollars an hour, which I thought was great because I didn't even have to negotiate and instead of hiring me at the $10/hr like she could have, she stuck with the base pay.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Melville, NY (took 4+ weeks)
I submitted my application for the position online, and then sent a networking email to a contact of mine who works with the company. The next day I was contacted by the HR hiring rep from the location at which I applied and we spoke for a short while, and scheduled an interview for the following week. At the time of the interview, I met with the same HR rep for about a half hour where I was asked typical interview questions (greatest strengths, greatest weakness, your preferable type of boss...etc). I was then interviewed by the Director and Senior VP of the department for which I applied, where they asked me questions and went over my resume and portfolio. The interview went well, and after more than a month of waiting, I was contacted with a job offer.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
Met with two departments and several members of one. Originally worked in a position and declined full-time offer, but was asked which opening(s) would be of most interest to me, and was allowed to pursue it. Opportunity for growth was evident by willingness to allow me to pursue possible interests.

The interviewing process is rather slow. You have to go through a few rounds with HR, your new boss, then more HR.
