Consultant Interview

Paris (France)

I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at Estin & co in January 2008.

Interview Details – First a short presentation about yourself.
Then challenge on motivation to join an consultancy and the CV.
2 Business cases, one of them more financial - the other is pure strategy.

They have some cases on their website, you should definitely try to solve them in advance

You should be very very prepared - level is highest I ever experienced in France

Interview Question – Why do you think you fit into the company?   Answer Question

Consultant Interview

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Estin & co in March 2010.

Interview Details – For the first round you meet two consultants, each one during 45 mn. They ask you to present yourself following your CV, then ask why you are interested in Estin and strategy consulting. Then they proceed with the case study: they give you a few words about a situation they faced and ask you a question. you have five minutes to gather your thoughts. Then it is a discussion.
You have to prepare yourself to case excercises, espacially calculations, as they expect you to be quick.

Interview Question – Three defaults of your personnality (classical but still disturbing)   Answer Question
