I was living out-of-state and interviewed over the phone 2 weeks before relocating. The interview was really easy and relaxed. The interviewer was mostly talking about personal experiences and asking me about my home town. I was the one actually asking about the position! It lasted about one hour. After I moved, I went to the store to meet the manager - which was the person I had spoken to - thinking I was in for a face-to-face interview but, I was offered the job on the spot.

I was interveiwed for a customer service position at Ethan Allen.I have over 10 years experience in customer service but the woman interviewing me was a bit insulting. She asked about difficult customer situations I had faced in other jobs, I went over what was a big thing in one job at the time, and she laughed in my face and said"THATS the biggest customer problem you faced?" and rolled her eyes. Yes it WAS a huge thing in my prior job, sorry every job is different. When I got home I sent her an email to let her know I was no longer interested in the postion. If I am insulted and mocked at the interview, I do not want to work there.
