Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 1 week)
I did not apply to this position, but was contacted by a NYC HR representative. I was given a very quick (5 minute) phone screening and then asked to complete a skills test, which was very easy. The next day, I was asked to come to an interview the following week at the office I would be working in. The two interviewers were very busy and unorganized. They did nothing to sell me the company and didn't seem to know what the position would entail. Worst of all, they were very rushed, distracted, and a little rude, interrupting me to check emails. I left feeling confused and frustrated, but if that's how they treat an interviewee, I wouldn't want to work there.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 7 weeks)
After I applied online I was contacted 3 weeks later by an HR representative. I did a very quick phone interview right there and then an in-person interview was set up at the office I'd be working in. That in-person interview was about a week later. I met with two different people and the interview was mostly about what the job would entail. To me it seemed more like they were selling me the job than interviewing me. Two weeks later I was contacted by another HR rep. She asked me to complete a proofreading quiz and another quiz that was job specific. Both were extremely easy. Two full weeks after this I was asked to do another job specific quiz. I waited another 2 weeks because this seemed to be their pattern, but I got no response. I then emailed the HR rep for an update and they informed me that the job was given to another applicant.
It was frustrating that after 7 weeks of interviews and tests they did not have the decency to tell me I did not get the job. Also, the interview process was very drawn out. Less time in between tests would have been preferred especially since I only had 2 days to respond to their questions. Overall, the tests and interviews were very easy and the company seemed like a great and fun company to work for.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Interviewed with HR, she asked me very basic interview questions. Interview lasted 20-30 minutes but she did most of the talking. It was a very informative interview, though I wasn't called back for a second (I think because I'm still in school/interviewed too early). It seems like a great place to work though.

Interviewed May 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
After submitting a resume, contacted for a phone interview which lasted around 30-45 minutes. I was asked to come to the NYC office for an in-person interview and it lasted around 30 minutes. I was asked about my experiences, why I chose my school, what interested me about the company, why I thought this was the right industry for me and the right position for me as well as what I had to offer. I was in a small office, was not given a tour of the agency which seemed odd after working in an ad agency the previous summer. The office was messy, the two interviewers were rude and checking their e-mail throughout the process. I was not treated as though they were giving me a chance, but as if they had already made a decision before I walked in the door. I had an uneasy feeling leaving the interview. After flying all the way to NYC which was not paid for by the company, I received an impersonal e-mail rejection that following Monday, the interview took place on a Friday.
