I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Express (Louisville, KY) in Mar 2009
Interview
I went into Express to fill out an application. Later, I was called and asked to come in for a group interview where we were asked to describe our personal sense of style, & other generic questions like how to deal with an unhappy customer, etc. We were also all asked to go out into the store & put together an outfit we would recommend for a customer & describe why we chose what we chose.

Question 1
The most unexpected question was when we were asked to go out into the store & put together an outfit.
I first applied online, and then I got an interview date and time, and then I went into the location for the interview. After that I just waited for a little bit of time and then I was sent an offer that I signed
Applied online, interviewed in person the next day. Interview was basically a vibe check. More important to apply during peak season (early spring or early fall) when they're hiring the most. Make sure you have availability on the weekend.
Easy and straight forward interview. They ask for your availability and if have fashion experience. Also, asks about previous sales and customer service experience. The job itself is not hard at all.
