I received an interview through my departments career fair. The interview consisted of typical behavioral interview questions such as "When was the last time you were disappointed". Overall it was not a difficult interview if you come prepared.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Leatherhead, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
After the application process, asked to complete online assessments.
Then given a phone interview asking competency questions only.
Passed and went through to the face to face interview at Leatherhead. Interviewed by two persons of the Exxon aviation department. Mostly competency based questions again. Some other questions on why I wanted the opportunity.
Afterwards, shown around the site and had a 'casual' and 'informal' chat with the current undergraduate.

The interview was great. I felt very comfortable with the interviews and employees that I interacted with. I was very excited about the opportunity to work for Exxon. The interview wasn't too difficult because of how open the interviewers were. There were behavioral and technical questions involved.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
Overall, the interview was not very difficult. It consisted of a phone interview and then later, an in-office visit with 5 different interviews. The interviews with the managers were more difficult, but all of the interviews were behavioral (not technical) and everyone was extremely friendly.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Baytown, TX (took 3 months)
First applied through campus career fair. They would like to hire students with high GPA and at the same time with social activities and leadership skills. On the career fair day, there was a small conversation between me and one of the hiring group. He invited me to a 1:1 interview next day. The interview was behavioral type. The interviewer makes you feel very comfortable. 3-4 days later I got an email saying that my CV was recommended to the main system. 2 weeks later, I got the phone interview and invited to an on-site interview. The whole interview process was very well organized and pleasant!!! On site interview consisted of many 1:1 interviews and an hour long presentation (for a PhD candidate).

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 days)
I first had my resume distributed to the recruiters at my college career fair. Since I was out of state at the time, we conducted an initial phone interview as opposed to in person. From there, I was invited to travel to Houston for five on-site, in-person interviews. At these on-site interviews, they are interviewing you as much as you are interviewing them--you have to figure out if you are a good fit within the company. They would not have invited you if you didn't have the credentials on paper, not it's time to be sure you both will be happy if you are hired.

Negotiation Details
Depending on your situation, there can be room to negotiate. Best advice: don't be scared to ask--if they want you, they will do what it takes.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took a day)
it was a pleasant experience. I was very nervous as this is my very first and the only interview. But people are friendly and easy-going. There was no harsh behavior questions as I previously read. It was more like chatting about my experience and thoughts.
