The interview process with ExxonMobil Canada for a student engineering position is a standard interview that consisted of situational and behavioural questions as well as questions regarding previous experience and its relevance to the position. Questions also consisted of a description of personal strengths and weaknesses. Interview takes about 1 hour.

Not able to negotiate for student positions. Salary is determined base on # of years completed in Bachelor of Engineering program as well as work terms completed.

Several representatives from Exxon Mobil came to my university to answer questions about the company. I took an interest and exchanged information with one of the representatives. He invited me to a 1:1 interview, which took place the following week.
The woman who interviewed me was very friendly (as her job dictates), and she asked a lot of standard questions. Some of the questions were challenging, throwing me off a little bit, so I didn't perform as well as I would have hoped.

The interview was quite simple, with no technical questions. It look to me more like an informal discussion.

The interviewer asked many behavioral questions even though I was applying for a technical position. The interview took around 45 minutes and consisted of behavioral and leadership questions.
Before the interview there was a group/panel meeting that allowed the candidates to meet with the recruiters and ask them questions on how the company operates, its culture, etc.
It was a very good experience even though I did not get the position.

It was a fairly basic interview with mainly behavioral questions. They were looking for someone with good communication and leadership skills. All employees were very nice and I even got a personal email from the man who interviewed me giving some advise and about other opportunities within the company

It was a very basic interview with regular questions. The information session beforehand was very helpful as it gave an idea of what the company had to offer and what it was looking for. my most difficult question was describe a situation in which you missed a deadline or you made a terrible mistake. Other than that it was fine. Hope it helps

Applied online through campus recruitment and at company's website too.
After 2-3 weeks got confirmation via phone-call for the interview. 2 days before interview, HR called again and said I'll have 2 interviews on different dates!!!
The same evening he called again and said now u will only have 1 interview!! ...
Well, interview was kind of technical, nothing special, general questions...
