    Interview

First was a phone interview with HR to gauge interest in fin tech and overall fit. Right after, I was invited to a 2-hour Skype or in-person interview, and I chose to go to the office. Interview was a little over two hours with two different people and included situational, behavioral, and some logic questions. If all goes well you will be invited to a final round interview in the office, again two hours long and this time with 3 director/VP-level people. This time they really grill you to determine whether or not you can handle the role.

Had a 30 min phone interview with HR, then interviewed on-site twice with Human Resources, Quality Assurance Manager, Product manager, and QA team leads. Everyone was really nice and very helpful. The interviews consisted of easy to moderately difficult logic questions, typical interview questions, questions about the company, etc. I received an offer less than a week after my second interview and happily accepted.

    Interview

The interview process was over within a week, which was impressive. Recruiter contacted over the phone. Followed by group interview. This was followed by three 1:1 face interviews with senior management team. And finally a phone interview with a senior partner. They were very interested in hobbies and activities, I guess to assess availability for overtime work.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eze Software (Chicago, IL) in March 2015.

    Interview

After applying through my college's career center, I had a phone interview where you basically just go through your resume, highlighting the financial and/or technology points. After this, I had an hour-long skype interview with two interviewers (separate), where I described my most recent job in more detail, and discussed my knowledge of financial markets and troubleshooting skills. After the skype interview, I was flown out to the location for four half-hour interviews, where they asked general behavioral questions like "Where do you see yourself in 2-5 years," and two brain teasers. It was a somewhat extensive process considering it's just a help desk job. After I had accepted my offer, I was invited to an orientation where they put me up in a lavish hotel, and I met some of the people who would soon be my new co-workers. There was an open bar and free food in the restaurant attached to the building.

    Interview Questions

    • The interviewer gave me a stack of nine post-it notes, labeled 1-9. He told me to divide the stack of post-its into two groups so that the sum of both groups equals each other.   1 Answer

You approach the bouncer, he says to you, "Ten." You reply, "Five." He doesn't let you in. What should you have said?   1 Answer

First interview is either on campus or over the phone. This is a two part interview, first more about yourself, what you've done, etc. The second part is logical where they present a number of logic questions to you and want you to think out loud in order to see how you think and problem solve.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Eze Software (New York, NY) in February 2014.

    Interview

The interview process began with the EzeSoft recruiter contacting me from the Boston office about their LDP opportunity. The recruiter took down information about my experience and scheduled a phone interview with a member of the HR team. The said HR member completely forgot about my scheduled phone interview which meant I had to reach out after waiting an hour for the call. After finally getting in touch with the interviewer and conducting a full-interview, the HR member thought I was too experienced for the LDP position and scheduled me for a Consultant role. This meant having to do another phone interview with the same interviewer at a different time. They then requested I come in to meet with the team where I was scheduled to meet with 4 consultants. Since one of the consultants was unavailable, I was requested to come in the office at another time. To sum it up, the interview process was totally unorganized and utterly frustrating.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eze Software (Boston, MA) in April 2014.

    Interview

Interview structure was two managers followed by a director. Mostly behavioral questions. I showed up at their office HQ in Boston where a recruiter brought me down to the interview room. Each section of the interview was about a half hour, so the total interview time was an hour and a half. The third interviewer (the director) I feel like was mostly a formality. He told me a little bit more about the company and made small talk, before he strongly hinted that I was going to get an offer.
