I applied online for the associate account executive position and was contacted for a phone interview. The phone interview consisted of the HR director asking me general questions about myself and why I felt I was a good candidate for this position. After talking for several minutes she asked if I would like to schedule a face to face interview with in the next week. I accepted and made the appointment. When I arrived for the interview I first sat down with the same women from the phone interview who asked me more detailed questions about my background and qualifications. She then went into explaining about the history of the company and their expected growth projections. I then met with the Account Manager who asked me similar questions that were asked by the HR director. He also asked situational questions ("tell me about a time with...") and he was extremely positive and said I had great experience and qualifications. After meeting with the account manager I met with a third manager, for 'additional feedback'. I was then told that they were still in the interview process and would contact me within the next next two weeks about decisions and further interviews. I never heard back from them. I e-mailed the HR director 3 and 1/2 weeks later and found out that they decided to hire internally. It would have been nice if she could have just sent me an email saying that instead of having me wait and getting my hopes up about getting the job because I had such a positive interview.
