Interviewed Jan 2010 (took a day)
Was brought in as an internal employee referral. The interview process was very general. No technical questions about regulatory/securities industry knowledge. Spoke with 2 managers and the Director for about 2 hours. Was called a few days later and offered the position. Negotiations on salary were not possible. Salary was not the greatest, however for the hours you actually work, can't complain.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in New York, NY (took 4 months)
After an interview on campus, I was chosen for a "Career Day" at FINRA in downtown Manhattan. Had 4 interviews with different managers plus a writing sample test which was in a regular essay format. Didn't get the job probably since FINRA wouldn't sponsor you for CPA exam. Overall the interviews were a very pleasant experience, several technical accounting questions were asked.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took 3 weeks)
After initial communication, did not hear from firm for three weeks. In the meanwhile, they were conducting background check. The interviewers were not forthcoming with the training involved and that the job was contingent upon passing tests. Very Sneaky.
