I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Families First, Inc in March 2009.
Interview Details – The initial phone interview was excellent. Professional, warm, informative. I was asked to interview in person. It was set up so that I went to the individual offices of 5 different management level staff. Each person had been given a set of three or four questions that they read to me. They were all situational questions, so only one person heard my response to each question. Sort of like reading two or three chapters in the middle of a book. Very frustrating for me. One of the managers didn't know who I was or why I was there, started asking me questions that had nothing to do with the job, then realized she had the wrong set of questions. I was there for 5 hours straight, moving from office to office. I left exhausted. I sent a follow up note of thanks within a few days, and then NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN! No email response, phone response, nothing. Astonishingly unprofessional, especially for a leadership position requiring a Master's degree.
