I applied online. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at FedEx SmartPost in September 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied online, you get a huge plus if you are already an employee. For this job, FedEx rarely hires people from the outside. Whole process took about 1.5 month. Behavioral interview which took about 1 hour was held in about 1 week after I applied. Interview was with 2 people, the HR and Logistics manager. They ask questions and take notes of your answers. After that, the Logistic Coordinator took me for the position observation, briefly explained me the job highlighting the most difficult parts of it - Took about 30 minutes. Second interview was in about 2 weeks after the first one. This was with the hub manager and the Sr. Operations manager. Basic questions such as: Which computer software have you used, are you capable to do the job?, etc. Takes about 15-20 minutes. If you are an employee - you get paid for this period of time. After about a week I got a job offer and drug test, which took them another week to process.

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at FedEx SmartPost in September 2012.

    Interview Details

I saw a posting that stated they were hiring and to call to schedule a tour. I went in on Thursday, filled out an app and got a tour of the facility. I was called the next day on Friday to set up an interview. I had my interview the following Tuesday and was offered the job and was told I would be contacted in a couple of weeks after my background cleared for orientation. I was called back the following Thursday (after my interview) and was told I would be starting orientation on the following Monday. So the process was pretty quick. The interview was fairly simple and the hiring manager was very nice and made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

I applied in-person – interviewed at FedEx SmartPost in August 2011.

    Interview Details

Was very easy, you go into the office and pick up an application, and turn that in. They will contact you when they are ready to interview/start training. Pretty much as long as you apply you will get the job. The interview did not have any hard or personal questions really. It mostly consisted of work condition questions, such as "Can you lift," "Can you work in heat," "Can you work in cold." If you say yes to all of those questions you pretty much have the job. One of the easiest interviews I have ever been apart of.

    Interview Questions
    • Again, there weren't any challenging questions that I can remember, a lot of it was just to see if you can work under certain conditions. Just come prepared for a standard interview and you will most likely be over prepared for this one.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
The pay is flat out, really no room for negotiation, once you get the job, you got the job.
