Interviewed Jan 2009 in Westlake, TX (took 5 days)
Transfering from one dept to another was rather simple. After applying for the position I was interviewed by a panel. Pretty simple process and was offered the job a week after interviewing.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Westlake, TX (took 2 weeks)
The initial phone interview was more of a screening process more than an interview. It lasted 45 minutes and it consisted of her telling me the description of the job and what the expectations are. Then we set up a face to face interview.
It was about 4 hours long:
1.started off with an hour presentation and the a Q&A session for about 25 minutes.
2. then we had a tour of the westlake campus
3.next it was time for a face to face interview with two managers per candidate
4. Finally a basic knowledge Test

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Westlake, TX (took 2 days)
Began with a phone interview that lasted about an hour which was more of a screen than an interview. They asked me to come in the next day for the real interview. I showed up with about 5 other candidates. Interviewees came in shifts that lasted about 4 hours. Started with presentation by a senior manager, then interviewed by two managers. Last we had a couple of tests to measure ability and personality. Overall pretty painless experience.

45 min phone interview, followed by a 3-4hr day at the campus, where you have a group interview/presentation, followed by a 1:1 interview with 2 hiring managers. One clearly is the good cop while the other is the bad cop. They want you to be specific as possible with examples of your past school/ work experience to back up what you say. The questions are all basic and based on your past experience and behavioral based. Once this is complete you go take an IQ exam to make sure you are intelligent enough to pass your Series 7 and 63 the first time and not waste their money since they sponsor you and pay for it all. If you do well on all of it you should get an offer. Just have specifics, and be prepared. Helps if you are already licensed.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Westlake, TX (took 2 weeks)
Interview process was very thorough. Phon interview took about an hour. The recruiter was very nice and conversational. I have a lot of respect for Fidelity from the way they thoroughly screen their candidates. After the phone interview is a 3 hour in person interview consisting of a group interview, 1 on 1 interview, presentation, and assessment test.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Westlake, TX (took 2 weeks)
I applied online on sunday night for the Financial Representative posistion at the Westlake office and was called on monday morning to schedule a phone interview with HR. The phone interview took about an hour, asking basic questions about my resume and giving me information about the company and the job I was applying for. Many questions were behavioral based, like how would act in a certain situation and how did you handle things in the past. Then had a 1:1 interview with the hiring managers a week later and a presentation of the company and also a tour. Once again, every question was behavioral based.
