Interviewed Jan 2010 in Westlake, TX (took 2 weeks)
45 min phone interview, followed by a 3-4hr day at the campus, where you have a group interview/presentation, followed by a 1:1 interview with 2 hiring managers. One clearly is the good cop while the other is the bad cop. They want you to be specific as possible with examples of your past school/ work experience to back up what you say. The questions are all basic and based on your past experience and behavioral based. Once this is complete you go take an IQ exam to make sure you are intelligent enough to pass your Series 7 and 63 the first time and not waste their money since they sponsor you and pay for it all. If you do well on all of it you should get an offer. Just have specifics, and be prepared. Helps if you are already licensed.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Palo Alto, CA (took 2 weeks)
The hiring manager returned my call: we set up a telephone interview that lasted 40 minutes. He asked specific questions about my experience along with why I wanted to work at Fidelity. At that time we set up a one-on-one interview. The interview was pleasant and detailed lasting 90 minutes. He then had me talk to another Financial Representative who told me about himself and then asked if I had any questions.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Westlake, TX (took 2 weeks)
Interview process was very thorough. Phon interview took about an hour. The recruiter was very nice and conversational. I have a lot of respect for Fidelity from the way they thoroughly screen their candidates. After the phone interview is a 3 hour in person interview consisting of a group interview, 1 on 1 interview, presentation, and assessment test.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Westlake, TX (took 2 weeks)
I applied online on sunday night for the Financial Representative posistion at the Westlake office and was called on monday morning to schedule a phone interview with HR. The phone interview took about an hour, asking basic questions about my resume and giving me information about the company and the job I was applying for. Many questions were behavioral based, like how would act in a certain situation and how did you handle things in the past. Then had a 1:1 interview with the hiring managers a week later and a presentation of the company and also a tour. Once again, every question was behavioral based.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 weeks)
Interview process went well. You must know your stuff, because there is a lot of competition right now. Was not offered job because I did not have Series 7 license. Seems kind of ridiculous because I have a degree in economics which most applicants don't. All they want is someone who they can get in without costing them anything.

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took 2 days)
Phone interview that last about 45 minutes- this was really the recruiter reminding you the things you need to brush up on before the actual interview.
Interview took place about a week after the phone interview- began with a presentation that lasted about 1 hr and 15 minutes. Then we toured the facility (30 minutes), followed by the interview (1hr) and an aptitude test (1 hr)
