Interviewed Oct 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Very informal.
We went to lunch, but they didn't really ask me any questions. Most of the time they were telling me about what they do and how their office (which is smaller than a lot of Actuarial consulting firms) operates. That made it seem more like a pitch to join them than an interview.
They were nice and helpful in gathering what their work culture was like (seemed a little more laid-back than a traditional consulting firm with more self-initiated opportunities).

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I initially got turned down for the position after talking with someone from the HR dept, but I was later called by another person in HR saying s/he was forwarded my resume and had a short 5 minute interview with him/her answering questions about my work history and knowledge (of the role and some of the computer programs). I was then contacted again and scheduled for an in-person interview with two people from the department I applied to. The interview lasted about 40 minutes held in one of the small conference rooms. I was asked what I knew and was told of about the role, to explain my resume, some behavioral questions, and then it was my turn to ask some questions. At no point during the interview did we discuss compensation or salary.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Boston, MA (took 4+ weeks)
This was for the IT Audit Analyst. I first encountered the position at Fidelity via a career fair. Two days later, I was contacted for an on campus interview with two people. Finally, made it to the second round of interviews at the main office in Boston. The interview was with 6-7 people for 30 minutes each. It was quite repetitive to the point where I feel like I was repeating myself. Some of the interviewers seemed rather rushed or tired. They asked mostly behavioral questions and why I wanted to go into auditing. However, I was asked to explain what object oriented programming was which caught me off guard. Regardless, I thought I answered all the questions honestly and eagerly. Some people seemed rather impressed with my resume and attitude. Others not so much. With this much said, I did not receive an offer.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Covington, KY (took a day)
Once you apply you get a call from the recruiter. You go through typical interview questions. If you pass the first step, then you get a call from a manager to come in and interview. Once at the site you take a tour and talk to existing representatives. After that you go in and interview with 2 hiring managers. Again, typical interview questions. Managers like to hear good examples of how your previous job skills will relate to the new job you applied for. Once you go through that you wait a week and get another call from another manager that asks you a couple more questions. After that you get an offer.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Westlake, TX (took 3 weeks)
First, I was emailed to set up a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 20-30 minutes and it was with an HR representative. I assumed the phone interview would be mostly her telling me about the position and seeing if I was a fit, but she asked me what I thought the job was and what I thought I would be doing. She wanted to make sure I knew the position, especially because I was referred by an employee. After the phone interview, I was emailed a date/time to meet at their office to interview with three managers, each 30 minutes. These were relatively laid back and I was not asked any off the wall/crazy questions.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Jacksonville, FL (took 2 weeks)
They use that annoying interview model of a zillion "Describe a time when..." questions. I personally prefer questions that are tailored to the job itself or a more structured, "What would you do if..." type format...the interview room was cramped and claustrophobic. The entire process took about 3 hours.

Reason for Declining
Pay was prohibitive, love the culture, but I can't eat culture.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Boston, MA (took a day)
I was called on a Saturday morning by one of the hiring managers stating she had obtained my resume from my college's career site and that she was interested in bringing me in for an interview. She told me the days and times they had available and I selected my best fit. The day of my interview I went to the office where they had a brunch set up for all of the candidates in that section. Then two employees from the company came and spoke to us "informally and off the record" about any questions we may have. The rest of the day consisted of 3 one on one interviews with 3 different people. One was from college relations/HR and two were managers in the finance departments. Overall it was mostly a behavioral interview and we went through my resume each time. There were no skills based questions.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Covington, KY (took a day)
I emailed my resume. I was contacted the next day to set up a phone interview. Fidelity was the last place I worked before having a child. I happen to be the last person hired and the first they laid off. I have a laundry list of various securities licenses. The phone interview started off with "Where have you worked in the last 10 years?". I was laid off from Fidelity and I started a family. I think that did me in right there a stay at home mom…(of which technically I was overqualified for the position anyway).
"Do you use Outlook, Excel and Power Point…." I said yes I have used them, currently I am using MAC. The interviewer started hammering me with specific computer questions and turned the interview into a Microsoft interview. She told me to get some current job experience and apply in 6 months. Well it's been 6 months and I've applied for 10 jobs at Fidelity and I have not heard a peep.
