Interviewed Nov 2011 in Cincinnati, OH (took a day)
Interview was one to one, lasted for an hour, asked mainly general competency questions, and background question, the interviewer was very nice and patient, explained to me in detail about what his department does and what their expectation on me would be, there was no technical question at all and didn't ask why I wanted to join their firm, left me with around 15 minutes toward the end to ask him questions I had.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Cincinnati, OH (took 2 days)
I interviewed once on campus, with two of their recruiters. Both were very friendly, and asked a few questions about my resume, and a few fairly standard behavioral questions. I was contacted two weeks later, and asked to drive to Cincinnati for an additional two interviews with the program director, and another higher-up in the consumer banking division. These were "get to know you" interviews, with questions about my background, and a lot of time for me to ask questions. After the two interviews I was given a tour, and the opportunity to ask questions of the current CLP participants (2 year rotational program for fresh college grads). I was offered $16 an hour, but accepted a better offer with a larger company.

Reason for Declining
I was offered $16 an hour, but accepted a better offer with a larger company. While everyone at Fifth Third was very nice, and the program sounded fairly interesting, consumer banking is not where I'd optimally like to start my career.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Cincinnati, OH (took 2 weeks)
I interviewed with them just a week ago. There were two managers from their Fifth Third Branches in Cincinnati. They were really relaxed and everyone that was a part of the recruiting team seemed to enjoy working together. They left about 10 minutes to ask questions at the end of the interview so come prepared to ask plenty of questions. Don't waste all of them at pre night events. The questions were pretty straight forward. They asked what you think a good leader is as well as asking about integrity as far as I can remember. Overall a great interview with a relaxed feel. Still waiting to hear back.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 2 months)
phone interview with HR followed with phone interview with immediate supervisor. 4 weeks later, HR called to set up interview with immediate supervisor and his supervisor and another manager. face to face inteview lasted 3 hours (an hour with each). Interview was informal. All 3 asked behavioral questions and took detailed notes. It was fun chatting them up. I assume they were also trying to find out what kind of vibe they get.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Grand Rapids, MI (took 2 weeks)
There was first a phone interview, then there was a IQ and skills test. After the process there were two 2:1 interviews using the "STAR" format. Ensure you are adequately prepared for specific examples, very simple if you have personality and good skills. I had my first 2:1 interview, and was called the next day for a second. The specific questions vary on the department being interviewed for.

Reason for Declining
The job was a good opportunity, but I was offered better money to stay with the department I was currently in. The company has lots of room for advancement and growth.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Cincinnati, OH (took 2 weeks)
The interview itself was pretty straight forward, focusing on asking behavioral questions. It consisted of 3 one on one interviews, all about 30-45 minutes each. I was disappointed that most of the interview consisted of each person explaining the position, which were described in the posting.

Interviewed May 2009 in Burton, MI (took 2 weeks)
I was interviewed multiple times because the positions were filled at the first and second branches I interviewed for. They hired someone with more experience at one and took back a former employee at the other. Initially the corporate recruiter called me to set up an interview and she is very skilled and thorough at her job. I was very impressed with how she always got back with me very promptly and told me everything I needed to know and gave me good directions to the interview and training locations.
