    Interview

Submitted my application online. A few days later someone from the company called me. I went in for an interview that week and it was very straightforward. It lasted about fifteen minutes. The next day the interviewer called me with a job offer. I accepted it and went in for training the next week.

    Interview

Called in for an interview right after applying online. Interview seemed very scripted; he literally went down the list of generic interview questions. They needed 3 references to 'clear' you until they offer you the position

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Finish Line (Douglasville, GA) in May 2012.

    Interview

My interview process seemed a little bit unorthodox. First, I literally had to stalk the manager before I could get an interview and once, I had one, one of the associate managers, whom was the same age as me at the time (19) interviewed me. She asked all of the typical questions like why do you want to work here, where do you usually shop, how much do you know about shoes, why do you want to be a cashier, etc. We mainly just talked about life, and she seemed to like me and told me that I was hired immediately.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at Finish Line (Poughkeepsie, NY) in July 2011.

    Interview

I applied online and it took about 5 days to get a call back. I was then set up for a phone interview. The interviewer was very nice and asked many questions. The questions were mainly about my previous work experience and skill that I had obtained. The interviewer told me about the position and ask questions about my comfort level with the position. I was called back to come in for a face to face interview. This was a one to one in which I was asked similar questions in the phone interview.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Finish Line in June 2008.

    Interview

Received a call inviting me to a 1:1 interview with the store manager. Attended the one-time interview, answering basic questions about myself and why I would be a good fit for the job. The interview was so laid back, and I was offered the position at the end. Since this is an athletics-based store, I would say that you could be forgiven if you don't come to the interview wearing a three piece suit (!), but don't come with jeans either. Business casual is best. Good luck!

    Interview Questions

    • Since you are a student, tell me about the subject or class that best represents who you are and why.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There really was no negotiation. I needed the job; they offered the job; I took the job.
