    Interview

    Very casual, informal.

    Interview Questions

    • There weren't really any. Your standard "why are you applying, why Finishline, strengths/weaknesses". Just use your standard answers, it doesn't matter. If you can talk about basketball you're in.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

No negotiation. I was told $8.50, bottom line. I can't believe sales kids get $5 an hour. Ridiculous.

    Interview

3 interviews with different managers including the district sales manager none taking very long but thorough. All three interviews seemed very transparent on the duties of the job and sold the company very well.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Finish Line (Milwaukee, WI) in May 2011.

    Interview

I had my first interview with the store manager. Cool guy, seemed very interest in hiring me. Just wanted to know about my goals. I had a second interview with the district manager. Arrogant fella. Kept yawning during my interview. Being a straight jerk. Kind of made me not want the job. Both interviews took place in the food court. Seemed like a fun place to work.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Finish Line in August 2011.

    Interview

I submitted an application online and got a call for the interview a few days later. I met the store manager at the store in the mall and we went to a secluded part of the mall where we could sit and start the interview. It was basic questions about my experiences and my future goals. Overall it was a very good interview and very comfortable.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Finish Line in August 2010.

    Interview

After I applied online, a manager from Finish Line called me to set up my first interview. It was just a routine interview (basic questions). Then he told me that if they were interested they would set up a second interview. Was called up two days later for the second interview. After about a week they called, offered me a position, and made me take a drug test. The interviews were about 30 minutes long, and were about as basic questions as you can get. Don't be nervous, just research interview questions online.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

No negotiation at all. There are 8 stores in about a 50 mile radius, and whatever store they offer, you have to take. And be prepared that they shuffle around their Assistant Managers and MIT's about every 2-3 months.
