Interviewed Apr 2012 in Philadelphia, PA (took a day)
They bring in a number of candidates for a 5-10 person group "interview". It is not at all an interview. The manager comes into the room and talks about the company, the industry, and the position for about an hour or so, asking questions along the way. When he is finished, another interviewer will take you each out one by one and ask if you have any questions. Each person spends only a minute or two with the second interviewer. He or she asks little to no questions. They will then review your resume and application again and get back to you within a week and let you know if they would like you to come in for the second interview (one on one this time.)

Interviewed May 2011 in Walnut Creek, CA (took 2 days)
They made it sound like I was going in for a 1 on 1 interview and then I showed up and was sitting next to another guy in my career center. We got to talking and realized we were going for the same company. We thought they had double booked the interview until they walked us into a room with 4 people already waiting. They were completely trying to sell the company and just didn't seem like an honest organization.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in San Diego, CA (took 2 days)
I was only there for one day and the interview was 1:1. We got a background of the company and asked very general questions: nothing specific to finance. As a finance major, it was interesting to find out that finance majors were not necessarily on the top of there list.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Pasadena, CA (took 4 days)
After applying, they call you back for a group/panel interview. Sit you in a room with about 15 other people, tell you how much you can make (even though there is no base salary). At the end of the talk, they take people out of the room one by one to interview for 10 minutes. Basic "why do you think you are a good fit" and questions off your resume.
They call you back for a second day where they say more about the "perks" (really just the commission upside if you make a lot) and you get in for a longer half hour interview

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 2 days)
Got a call letting me know this company was interested in interviewing me for a financial position. Arrived for the interview a week later, presumed that it would be a 1 on 1 interview but to my surprise I walked into a meeting room with 9 other people. We all listened to a guy give about an hour long presentation on the company. This was followed by his 2 assistants taking 10 mins to do 1 on 1 interviews. I got a call later that evening inviting me for a 2nd interview the following morning. I already had another interview scheduled for that day so asked them if they could meet with me on another day. The flat out refused and said they will be selecting their candidate that week only. So I never got to go back for the 2nd interview. I was also told that they would be interviewing about 30 candidates to fill 1 position.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 2 days)
First it started off with a presentation on why one would like to work for this company. It was all perks and they it seemed almost too good to be true. After the initial presentation, I was interviewed one on one in what was a very easy interview. I was quickly invited back for a second interview, but the questions seemed to be only a formality as if they were already ready to recruit me.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 6 days)
They called me after seeing my resume online, and asked if I was interested in coming in for an interview. After looking at reviews for it, however, I decided to stick with the job that I had, which doesn't involve commission at all. I hate the idea of commission, so I was immediately turned off by that alone.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Hampton, VA (took 5 days)
Had an interview with a recruiter (Manager's daughter). She was really nice, made me feel comfortable. She asked about previous experience and personality questions. I got a second interview with the manager. He was very nice as well. The interview went well, but it was required for me to pay for textbooks for studying, and also the licensing fees. This was going to sum up to about $900. This turned me off a lot so I knew this is why I did not get an offer. Otherwise, all they really want to know is if you will be committed to the job.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Beaverton, OR (took 2 days)
I received an email asking me to come in for an interview. It was more of a sales pitch. The first day I went, there were a total of 3 candidates and the recruiter gave a presentation about the company, their services etc. Then, there was a 1:1 with one of their financial advisors. Some behavioral questions to gauge my interest etc. I was asked to come back the next day for another presentation and 1:1. They said they will call everyone that evening to give a decision but I didnt hear back from them. I emailed a couple times but no response.
I am guessing I wasn't called back because I did not have a list of clients with me that I can bring in to grow their business.
Anyways, by the end of the process, I wasn't interested because it was a commission based pay and I couldn't expect to make money for at least 6 months.
