Interviewed Jun 2011 in Fremont, CA (took a day)
Interview began at 1pm and ended at 4pm. No offer of a break in between. Interviewed throughout the day with several people from various functions. Everyone appeared to be open and honest about their perception of the company, which was not 100% positive. After the interview, f/u thank you emails sent to each person in the interview process. Followed up in email and phone calls to the manager & HR. So far, no response from either. Therefore, overall interview experience was negative because of the lack of common courtesy of a response to this job seeker.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 1+ week)
Before the interview they tell you what to have ready for the interview itself and what they will discuss. When you get to the interview they dont look at anything you brought with you, they ask questions about theings they know have nothing to do with you, and they try to get you to rat out your coworkers. I was asked why my other coworkers didnt apply for the position I was applying for and they went after one in particular that the company no longer favored.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in San Jose, CA (took 1 week)
I had worked for Flextronics prior to birth of first child. I was looking to get back into business world and contacted previous manager. Loved working there previously. Interview process was fairly easy because my past experience was doing the job at the company. Although I was interested we could not come to agreement on salary and I took a position at another company.
Reason for Declining
Salary offer did not meet requirement.

I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Personality Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Los Angeles, CA (took 3 weeks)
An employee referral led me to an interview with some guy from Florida. The recruiter arranged the date. I sat through a two hour interview as he went over my resume which had about 15 years worth of electronics and field tech experience. Turns out these guys had an internmal applicant that was going to get the job all along---2700 miles away in New York. How unprofessional, stringing a guy who's looking for work and probably more qualified than the internal applicant and giving it away to someone who has no geographical knowledge of the area that has to be navigated on a daily basis.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Snellville, GA (took 3 days)
I applied internally on the AT&T account. This was the 3rd time I applied. I was asked 'Where do you think the last supervisor went wrong adn how would you have done differently?" after 2 more questions about our last supervisor I was told that the position was given to a supervisor who would be coming over from the Verizon account and that I would need to train him.

Customer Service Skills and Experiential examples are key. Also Flextronics personal approach by all levels of managment can either make you uncomfortable or honored that they spend so much time selecting the right candidate. There may be dinner or a boss thier boss and the bosses boss grilling you. Like they say :"just be yourself". ...and know a bunch of stuff.... that helps
