Interviewed Jan 2012 in Cerritos, CA (took 1 week)
After getting tired of applying online, I figured I'd drop off the resume at the store. It worked as I was contacted by the co-manager within 4 days for an interview the following Monday. I attended the interview and it went well. He asked me to come back for another 1:1 interview with the store manager. My second interview went great too; however, he shared that my desired salary was outside of the salary bracket of an assistant (14-18/hr) I said I'd still want to be considered for the position. Nevertheless, I was never contacted after that interview even though he said he would contact me the following week. I wish managers were a little more professional and considerate of applicants.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Fairfax, VA (took a day)
I've actually been working for the company for about 6 years. I started off in a location that was not the best in management. I remember walking in and talking to one of the managers on duty. I was smiling, energetic, and charismatic. i was hired on the spot!

Negotiation Details
I actually didn't negotiate at all. I thought it would be rude to do so. But i later heard of other employees negotiating and it turned out way better for them! It helps to let the manager know of any other customer service experience you may have. Or even courses you took in school... for example fashion marketing if you are applying for a Visual merchandising position. Or a communications course if you are applying for a managerial position.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 3 days)
I had an interview with the District Manager. She would ask a question and then look around. She was very nonchaluant. She asked questions about my past experience. I was then scheduled to meet with the floating store manager, since there was no store manager of the location I was applying for. He was very arrogant and spoke very negatively about the store I was going to work for. The interview ended with the manager letting me know that he would call me if I am accepted. I knew I would be.

Reason for Declining
I declined for culture reasons. Forever 21 is very disorganized and hasn't implemented ways to better accomodate thier customers in more that 100 ways...

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 6+ weeks)
Interviewed with Store Manager. The next week I was interviewed by DM, they wanted me to interview with another Store Manager further away from my home for a Co-Manager. The Store Manager scheduled my interview 2 weeks away. She was nice but didn't really care much. Than there was a 3rd interview with other DM.

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took 3 weeks)
The response to my application and resume` was nearly immediate. I was scheduled for a one on one interview for the end of the week. I was given a phone interview by the district manager a little over a week later. I then was offered a higher position than what I had applied for within hours of the phone interview.
