Interviewed Jun 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
The interview took two hours total with several sets of different groups coming in one after the other. First it was the Client Manager Paralegal and an attorney, then two attorneys, then HR and another attorney, then the managing partner, then the second managing partner, then the attorney that you would be assigned to (maybe), and finally the HR again. Not sure how they would interview someone with no experience, but for someone with a lot of experience they ask you to run through a specific case process. Some interviewers ask you general questions such as "what are your weaknesses?" or "describe a difficult situation at work and how you resolved it." The process never felt difficult, everyone was very nice and engaged.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Iselin, NJ (took a day)
They called me because they saw my resume in one the job boards and set up an interview. I interviewed with one attorney. It wasn't difficult but she didn't seem like she knew how to interview a candidate. HR personnel was very friendly, however, they kept me hanging for than a month, not saying yes or no to a second interview. Eventually, they hired someone else.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Santa Clara, CA (took 2 weeks)
I found the Assistant Paralegal position through a university career center and they called me after three weeks I applied. I arrived 10 minutes early and was very impressed with the lobby area- friendly and welcoming receptionist greeted me and wished me luck on the interview. The firm branch had over 80 staff and is about 4 stories high. If you like taking the train to work, this location is right for you.
The interview structure was unexpected for I was put in room with two rounds of panel interviews consisting of executives and managers. It was surprising because the position that I had applied for is only an assistant role, so I expected no more than 2 person in the interview. It was a total of seven attorneys, executive director, and managers. It's nerve racking, but half of the battle is not looking like you're nervous. They called me a week to offer me the position with an entry level hour wage. I was disappointed in the offer since I have over six years of general business experience. Overall, I was really impressed with the team I met.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
Did not feel like an interview at all. The recruiter spent most of her time explaining the culture, goals, and organization of the firm. She was very nice, enthusiastic, and easy to talk to. She asked why i was interested in working with the firm and in immigration in general. Felt more like a fluid conversation. She told me to stay in contact with her and to email her as my last semester was coming to an end.
