    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Freese and Nichols (Houston, TX) in March 2015.

    Interview

I went to an initial interview at my school and then I went to their Houston office for the second interview. In the first interview I was interviewed by an HR representative, it was very brief and they asked me the typical behavioral questions of a interview. The second one was done by all the engineers in the group I was applying for. It was more technical and more in depth about my qualifications, interests and future career plans. They explained the position and department very well and made sure to address all the questions and concerns I had. They also gave me a tour of their office and introduced me to everyone there which really helped me appreciate their working environment.

    Interview Questions

    • They asked about my previous experiences and my knowledge about different software.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Freese and Nichols in January 2009.

    Interview

The interview consisted of a two day interview. The first day was a typical question and answer interview. The next day I went around the office and talked with several people, making it sound like I had my pick of any of the many different engineering jobs, I just had to pick which one I was most interested in. However, after that second interview, they never contacted me again. After a month, I called back and they informed me they were opening up the position to more candidates.
