Interviewed Sep 2010 in Chennai (India) (took 1 week)
Applied online through Naukri. Got a call from the HR after 3 days. Initial HR screening based on the profile and suitability. Was called for an interview (1:1) the next day. The interview was a breeze and the interviewer was helpful throughout the process. Overall experience was nice.
Was called for an email test (from home) after 4 days. It was a descriptive type and needed to be completed in one and half an hour. There were 8 subject matter questions (5 needs to be answered) and 2 case analysis.
The final phase was a meeting with the Research Director and then discussion with the HR.

Negotiation Details
Negotiation wouldn't help much, because they have pre-defined standards and packages, so not of much use to argue.

The interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

A few months back I interviewed with them for an Account Executive position and after many, many interviews with various staff over the phone and in person I was confused when I was answering the exact same questions during each session...just by different people. After a month I didn't find it productive to repeat myself to anyone new. In the meantime I had accepted an offer with another company.

Horrible...
I applied industry analyst but interviewed "Consultant Position"...Even interviewer was late for 30-40 minuites and does not seem to have a good knowledge on the sector...The office and conference room were almost garbage yard...Poor office amenities and call-center type of desk arrangement is not the environment that I can expect from a consulting firm with reputation...
For my life time, I don't think I can use F&S service or product for any reason even at free of charge...

phone interview from corporate regarding background, fit, interests, skills, knowledge of company business and market segments, and career goals; in person group interview on site with team managers for several industry segments; most questions focused on sales process knowledge and skills. very open and candid conversation style interview; very knowledgeable managers. several scenario questions to see how you'd handle various issues internally and with prospects and accounts. opportunity to ask plenty of questions but there were lots of candidates lined up with a tight schedule for interviews.

The interview consisted of 3-one to one's and 1 panel interview with two managers. Initial perceptions were that the office seemed run-down and people looked demoralized and just hunkered down in their cubicles. The job description sounded good, and so did the commission program - although the manager explaining it couldn't get his numbers straight. I felt overqualified, but I needed a job.

There were approximate numbers spoken of during the final interview phases and a formal offer by email. I was able to negotiate a better base, but I didn't push too hard due to desperate circumstances.

The company was looking for an analyst to be posted to the neighboring / less develop country.
The interview process was quite normal, whereby asking about the previous work, projects, study etc. What were the challenges faced during projects / work. The company then proposed to have a period of internship rather than probation. Later, the package offered was also revealed as a local package, which was less attractive to the original country standard.
