Interviewed Jul 2011 in Chennai (India) (took 3 weeks)
I applied for Frost, Chennai through online and I am lucky enough to get a call for having shortlisted my profile which suits their requirements. I always wish to work in Frost as it is one of the premier organizations in the field of Market Research. At first, I got a call from the HR for my expectations, and when both of us are okay for our expectations, the same day, I was having a Telephonic Interview with the Team Lead. It was held for our 25-30 mins wherein I shared all my experience. Having been satisfied with my performance, I was given opportunity to the next level of Interview; wherein I was asked to make a Project Report and a Presentation on two different Projects I worked upon. I was given 2 days time for this assignment and after completing the task, I was made to wait for more than a couple of weeks as some person was supposed to be on travel.
After a couple of weeks or 18 days, I was called for Personal Interview, which was supposed to be the final round I guess. There were 2 people who was interviewing me, one among them was the Lead. This f2f interview held for over 40 minutes time, wherein I was asked to share many of my experiences I already had in Marketing and Market Analysis. At the final stage, I was asked about to brief the presentation done by me earlier in the assignment.
I should be knowing the Market figures and estimation at that time. As that project was done by me long time back, I could not recollect the 'Market Figures' and Data and I guess they should be dissatisfied for that reason only. And at this stage, when I myself could not recollect the data fig; I myself lost confidence in the last moment and it was unfortunate for me, and I was not been shortlisted in the final call.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Chennai (India) (took 1 week)
Applied online through Naukri. Got a call from the HR after 3 days. Initial HR screening based on the profile and suitability. Was called for an interview (1:1) the next day. The interview was a breeze and the interviewer was helpful throughout the process. Overall experience was nice.
Was called for an email test (from home) after 4 days. It was a descriptive type and needed to be completed in one and half an hour. There were 8 subject matter questions (5 needs to be answered) and 2 case analysis.
The final phase was a meeting with the Research Director and then discussion with the HR.

Negotiation wouldn't help much, because they have pre-defined standards and packages, so not of much use to argue.

Interviewed Mar 2008 in Bangalore (India) (took 1+ week)
The initial round was an interview on phone by the HR. The objective was to just assess my suitability for the role.
Subsequently I was called for a written test, which consisted of an aptitude section (quant/verbal) and a technical section.
After that there was a 1:1 interview with my boss. The work culture was good. Free and open. But the office amenities were quite poor and the salary was also poor
