Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 3 months)
I was phoned by the course director and he told be about the position. I said I was interested and tried to maintain communication for the next 2 months. Eventually, we did a Skype interview with him, the program director and another faculty member. I was never challenged in the interview, like you'd expect in an academic setting. They just tried to sell me the job and answer questions.
A week or so later, I had another Skype interview with the same people lead by an upper manager. Again, he just tried to sell me the job.
About a week later, I receive a call and an offer.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 1 week)
Several contacts over the phone and then a 1 on 1 interview. Focus of the interview was on personality type and if the right fit for the job and the company. Next came a presentation describing how I would approach the job and how I would respond in various situations. There was also a personality test to determine what kind of fit I would be for the work environment.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Orlando, FL (took a day)
The only way to apply to teach at Full Sail is on line. It seems that some of their postings were ongoing - they were posted for months! No indication as to a closing date for the posting or a tentative hire date. I was called in for an interview almost 3 months after I applied.
The person that interviewed me was an instructor - and recently promoted to a project manager. I was told I was being interviewed to be an "online instructor" - 40 hrs a week sitting at a computer with a headset on. Not my idea of teaching! And not what I was interested in doing.
The person who interviewed me had weak interview skills. Rather than asking appropriate questions, she did most of the talking about herself and her background. Maybe they already had someone in mind to hire so the interview was prefunctory. Not surprised I didn't get an offer.
