Interviewed Aug 2011 in Jaipur, Rajasthan (India) (took a day)
Futures First is a Part of GHF group operating in India.. I got involved in the hiring process through college placements. Recruitment process consists of 3 rounds . First two rounds are written tests and third is interview , which may be 1 or 2 .. it depends . Futures First looks for Mathematical skills , i mean not like you should be profound but you should know speed and trick maths. Questions are very basic , BODMAS types , simple subtraction, division , multiplication like , 222*333/999 , 0.2^3 . 1st round consists of 30 questions to be done in 5 minutes . Cutoff is near about 20-22. 2nd round consists of 30 questions in 30 minutes with negative marking , cutoff is around 15-17, and questions are based on reasoning and quantitative skills , like permutation , numbers , series , probability etc.
Interview process may include 1 or 2 interview rounds . The thing they stress upon is quick thinking , your resume , your interest in markets , short term and long term goals and reason for choosing this field. And they might ask some mathematical questions in between like , 37.5*28 , (7)^1/3 etc, The ultimate thing is that you must be confident with numbers , have interest in markets , and have interest in their profile and you are in .
Futures First doesn't have many profiles , only traders and manager. Office is nice with good infrastructure and facilities.

Interviewed May 2010 in Hyderabad (India) (took a day)
The interview starts with a hard round. 40 questions 5 minutes. You must do at least 25 to hope to make it to the next round. Questions were only addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. It will help to remember the first 15 cubes. Examples of the type of calculations : 72/(2.303+5.998+3.697-1.998), 11^3 etc. You must have practice and be very very quick. This is followed by a DI round, simple questions, then a personal interview which is also easy. Straightforward questions. not hard at all. The first round is the decider.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took a day)
The company visited our campus on the said month for the process. They had 2 written rounds for the role, followed by the interview. Each of the rounds eliminated the people who couldn't satisfy their benchmark.
The first round was based on pure arithmetic calculations and tested the speed of the applicant. The second round consisted of puzzles and logical reasoning questions. The interview focused on your background and the motivation for the job role.
