Interviewed Jan 2012 in Peterborough, ON (Canada) (took a day)
Was interviewed by 2 engineering managers. One was a PhD. Mostly Behavioral Interview. Asked to go through resume and talk about it. Same questions, why do you want to work for GE? Talked about the nature of the work. Then asked about marks. And specific courses. Also asked about some of the basic equations such as Electric/Magnetic fields. What does it mean by magneto-statics? Give examples/analogies. Then at the end gave a tour of the Peterborough plant.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took a day)
Initially I spoke with the employer about my background and previous three internships. He immediately seemed interested in my resume and invited me to meet with him in a couple of days. When I met for the interview I was asked about strengths and weaknesses and was asked how I viewed the company as a whole. Overall it was a very straightforward interview process. However, I was never given a call verifying the result of the interview in spite of a phone call and an email I sent to inquire.
