I had applied from Naukri to an oppurtunity at GE Healthcare. I was soon contacted by the recruiter saying that my resume was shortlisted for the F2F interview.

Interview Questions

Write a procedure to illustrate use of Copy constructor and overloading an assignment operator. When are these invoked?

What is Function overloading and why is return type not taken into consideration while overloading.
For eg: int function(int,int)
double function(int,int)
Here the return types vary but why its not possible to have such an overloaded function?

Explain singleton, copy constructor. Explain your previous companies project. Explain the architectures of products you have worked on.

Negotiation Details

GE respects leaders, and it only respects leaders. The engineers on top of which the leadership band sits, get pennies, and leaders take away all the money. So, if you do not fall in LP band and above, you are at 50-percentile of the market - thats official. 50-percentile means, if there are 5000 companies in your city, GE will be at 2049 position :-) Thats scary.
