Interviewed Dec 2011 in Waukesha, WI (took 3 weeks)
Be prepared to spend at least 4 hours in the interview process on site. This comes after a short phone screen by a human resource contract employee and potentially an hour on the phone with the hiring manager as well. You will be interviewed by peers as well as other leaders you may or may not interact with. Sometimes it is a real hodge podge. Give specific examples when asked scenario questions. They will also ask alot of behavioral questions. If they don't completely overwhelm you with the interview process, you may fit in with the type A culture.

Phone screening interview, then chosen for in-person interview with a number of people. Generally, they first ask you to run through the experience on your resume, then there are easy questions about your interests and the work involved. Be prepared for the "where do you see yourself in 5 years" question, but that is about as difficult as it gets. Be friendly but succinct. Don't guess on answers; ba

The hiring and interview process consisted of an informal interview via a dinner and a formal interview when I was interviewed by 2 people who were Sales representatives themselves. The interview was challenging with many situational and personality based questions.

Interviewed May 2011 in Waukesha, WI (took 2 days)
Started with an email conversation, followed by a phone interview, after which they flew me to Waukesha to interview with 7 or 8 people (1:1 or 2:1). Very casual interview process, discussing background and prior experience. Took half a day. The offer was made in 1 week.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Waukesha, WI (took a day)
The interview process was fairly quick. For an internship position it consists of a 1:1 interview or a group interview, it simply depends. Interns usually receive an offer 1 week to 2 months after. From there on the hiring process consists of acceptance paperwork and a drug test. The company also provides helpful resources and aids interns in finding housing.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Waukesha, WI (took 2 weeks)
It was quick contact and scheduling of interview directly by Hiring manager calling up and asking whether particular date is ok for phone interview(rare thing as generally options are given). Phone interview had some typical questions related to volatile keyword , C++ concepts like polymorphism function overloading, approach for writing serial driver . Than was brought to waukesha for onsite interview where two lead architects interviewed technical with various questions, interview with different team manager to see if compatible with , lunch interview with manager of team i am supposed to join, HR interview , finally one more senior level engineer to interview

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Wauwatosa, WI (took 3 weeks)
The first interview was a phone call with the hiring manager (I lived out of state). It lasted about 45 minutes and it consisted of me walking through my work history and a few behavioral questions (describe a time you implemented a change and what its impact was, etc)
The second interview consisted of going to the Wauwatosa office for a 4 hour interview with 5 different people (including lunch with the hiring manager). Each interview was very repetitive, walk me through your background, tell me about how your work style is, etc. It was more me talking about what experiences I've had so far and then me asking questions to see if it was the right fit.
The third interview consisted of an 30 minute interview with my boss's boss, and then 30 min interview with HR finance manager. The interviews were to see if I was a fit for the organization.

Negotiation Details
I did not negotiate as I considered the offer a bit above what I though the market would've paid. I wish I would have asked for more on the sign on bonus considering I was moving to a different state, but obviously hindsight is 20-20.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Wauwatosa, WI (took 4 months)
I interview in late summer and I'm still waiting to hear where things stand. The hiring manager communication was good. I was impressed with everyone on the interview team and would welcome working with them. This organization is notorious for the long hiring process which can be contingent on the business results and the market flux.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Milwaukee, WI (took a day)
I spoke to an alumnus of my university who works at GE Healthcare to ask him about the company. He asked if I was interested in internships there (I was, but I hadn't wanted to lead by making demands of him.) He forwarded my resume to a recruiter.
She and I set up a phone interview within the week, even though I am currently studying abroad in Ireland and the position is in the US. While interviewing me, she was kind, timely, and polite, if a little distant. She shared that she had been through an internship similar to the one I was applying to herself. She said outright that the interview would be behavioral.
Questions focused on problem-solving ability, working with people, and meeting challenges. Examples: "Tell me about a time you had to work with a difficult person." "Tell me about a time you had to convince somebody to do something that was difficult or risky for them." "Describe to me when you were working towards a goal and hit some obstacles." She asked "digging" questions at times--I'd pause in a story, and she'd ask something like, "So when you started at your lab and didn't know anything" (what I had just said,) "how did you go about learning?"
I did my best to answer the questions concisely with specific examples and to emphasize the problems I was faced with, the actions I took to solve them, and the results. When I asked her what one thing she would tell someone entering the position I was interviewing for to help them prepare, she said to keep an open mind, be ready to be pushed out of your comfort zone, and view the whole thing as an adventure. I received an offer and think I will take the internship.

It's a summer internship. I'm not sure I will push much in negotiation in this economy and as a student. The pay and relocation assistance seemed generous to me anyways.
